Two of Germany’s largest military bases were locked down on Wednesday amid suspicions that their water supplies might have been contaminated by saboteurs.
An unidentified suspect was arrested after “abnormal” chemical readings were detected in the tapwater at the Wahn barracks next to Cologne-Bonn airport.
