A man who led a violent mob and chased three Romanian migrants from a moving car has received the longest sentence in connection to the far-right riots so far.
David Wilkinson, 48, admitted violent disorder, attempted arson and racially aggravated criminal damage after he admitted to playing a “prominent role” in a far-right rally in which businesses were torched and shops looted in Hull on August 3. He was sentenced to six years in jail on Friday.
