
When he’s not behind the wheel of his combine harvester, Andrew Lynch enjoys nothing more than shredding the tyres of his souped-up 1981 Toyota Corolla as the crowd roars its approval.
The 39-year-old wheat farmer from Western Victoria, better known to fans as Lynchy, is Australia’s reigning “burnout” champion, having won at the country’s biggest annual car festival, Summernats, in Canberra.
