
In my last column, I predicted Donald Trump would win decisively on election night.
In my view, the writing was on the wall. For others, it wasn’t so clear.
Based on the strong reaction I received to that prediction, it’s clear this was a minority opinion — especially within the Canadian media sphere. As a result, I want to dive into three of the more underappreciated factors behind Trump’s victory and why so many failed to see the indicators that pointed to it.
