Another by-election, another massive defeat for the governing Liberals. On Monday night, it was citizens in Cloverdale—Langley City, in Metro Vancouver, who delivered the blow. Two-thirds of voters opted for the Conservative, former MP Tamara Jansen, just 16 per cent voted Liberal Madison Fleischer, a 2021 university graduate who spent much of her campaign avoiding questions about her shaky claims to Metis heritage.
