A Russian soldier has alleged that Ukrainian troops are using recordings of cats to trick them into opening booby-trapped wardrobes and cupboards.
The unusual claim, which could not be verified, was made by a Russian sapper during an interview with TV Zvezda, which is owned by the Russian defence ministry.
