Elon Musk has gained access to the Treasury Department’s payment system, which controls trillions of dollars of government funds that go to programs like Social Security and Medicare.
Fear gripped Washington DC this morning as it emerged that Musk had forced out a top civil servant after he refused to allow the billionaire access to the payments system.
Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent gave Musk’s Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) the green light to have full access to the payments system, according to The New York Times.
