No one is listening to the left anymore. This is why

… In one particularly striking example, the night before the election, Harris put on a baffling and endless rally in Philadelphia. Long before she finally made it on stage, near midnight, thousands of her most ardent supporters were openly booing her warm-up acts.

I wrote at the time that one self-defeating rally probably didn’t mean that much in the grander scheme of a presidential election. Two months on, I’m less and less sure that’s the case. I tend to see that night now as a sign of a much larger malaise, not just in the Harris campaign, but in progressivism more broadly. Put simply, progressives don’t seem to have any idea how to perform politics in our current, socially mangled age.

I love the smell of defeated progressives in the morning. It smells like victory.
