A car has driven into a crowd of people in the western German city of Mannheim, leaving two dead and at least 25 injured, local media reports.
Police confirmed that a suspect had been identified and arrested this afternoon, but added that ‘no further, reliable information can currently be released’.
Update: Perpetrator is being described as “German” and having Dark skin. Bear in mind we have little to go on at this time.
