The Labour home secretary was adamant: Mr Savage, a Right-wing radio “shock jock” with the second-most popular show in the United States, deserved his place on a list of 22 people permanently excluded from the country.
Having spoken in “violent terms” about gay people and discussed the killing of “100 million Muslims,” he was “seeking to provoke others to serious criminal acts”, Ms Smith told Parliament. The cantankerous broadcaster could incite “inter-community violence” if he crossed the Atlantic.
