Estonia has sought consultations with other Alliance members after three Russian fighter jets violated its air space on Friday morning. Lest this appear a one-off accident, Russian drones this month breached Poland’s and Romania’s skies, bringing Nato — in the words of Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk — “the closest we have been to open conflict since World War Two”.
