Hamas fires rockets into town attacked on Oct 7
A rocket has been fired from Gaza into an Israeli town that was raided by Hamas terrorists on Oct 7 two years ago to the day.
The projectile struck close to Netiv HaAsara, a small farming community on Gaza’s northern border, on Tuesday morning, the Israeli military said. Nobody was injured during the attack, it added.
Hamas demands release of Oct 7 attackers in exchange for hostages
Hamas has demanded the release of captured terrorists who took part in the October 7 massacre, sources have said.
The terror group has reportedly requested that “Nukhba fighters”, the elite special forces unit who led the massacre, be added to the list of currently imprisoned Palestinians slated for release in exchange for the Israeli hostages.
The demand risks scuppering any chance of a deal.
