OTTAWA — A Canadian taxpayers’ watchdog is taking the federal government to court.
Announced Thursday, the Canadian Taxpayers Federation (CTF) is launching a legal challenge meant to reveal the true cost of Canada’s gun buyback program — beginning with a request for the court to rule on a long-delayed access-to-information request.
