A Métis delegation stormed out of the BC legislature after controversial OneBC party leader Dallas Brodie questioned the narrative surrounding the Kamloops Indian Residential School (IRS). Brodie’s statement, while technically accurate, was deemed disrespectful, even “triggering,” by the delegation.
