President Trump and New York’s mayor-elect Zohran Mamdani stunned both of their supporters with a friendly show in the White House after a meeting that was widely expected to be hostile.
The pair, who publicly rebuked one another during Mamdani’s campaign, smiled and shook hands in the Oval Office before they spoke to the press on Friday afternoon.
