An Iranian man has been arrested after he tried to get in to the naval base where Britain’s four nuclear submarines are based, The Times has been told.
The individual, 34, accompanied by a female of unknown nationality, was in a vehicle when he approached the gate at HM Naval Base Clyde, known as Faslane, on Thursday.
