It took six years and $3.5 billion to build the Finch West LRT.
Ilyas Mohamed just wants the bus back.
“It’s horrible,” the 18-year-old York University student said, stepping off a train about to leave the Finch West station to share his thoughts on the new line.
Standing on a quiet platform just past 5 p.m. on a recent workday, Mohamed acknowledged the new line is “beautiful and everything,” but said it simply takes too long to get where he’s going.
Finch is very diverse from Dufferin going west. I wonder how long till these shiny new trains need a makeover.
