Russian officer behind Mariupol strikes dies in ‘suicide bombing’

A senior Russian military officer accused of ordering deadly airstrikes on the Ukrainian city of Mariupol has been killed in an apparent suicide bombing in southern Russia.

Zaur Gurtziyev, a major in the Russian armed forces, died in a grenade blast in Stavropol, a city more than 700 miles from Moscow, according to Shot, a Telegram channel with links to the security services.

BROWN: In Ontario, some helpful ideas for Premier Doug Ford

‘With the statue of Sir John A. Macdonald set to be unboxed in Ontario, better must be expected of Ford’s semi-Conservatives going forward.’

After five long and shameful years, a three-term Conservative majority is finally unboxing Sir John A. Macdonald on the front lawn of Queen’s Park. Everyday Ontarians helped pressure them into doing the right thing — some were even arrested for it — but now, better must be expected of a Ford government drawing frequent unflattering comparisons to the legacies of Dalton McGuinty, Kathleen Wynne, and the federal Liberals.

Psaki Allows Comey to Compare Right-Wing Podcasts to Islam Extremists

Comey – Evil man

Last Friday, Democratic press secretary turned MSNBC host, Jen Psaki had on former FBI director James Comey to talk about his new book, a fictional story that centered on a right-wing influencer who directed his followers to commit violence. Psaki used biased questions and responses to validate Comey’s outrageous claims that right-wing podcasters were like Islam extremists and were “white supremacist adjacent,” not just in his book, but in real life.

Comey should be put on trial.

The Quebec legislature has passed a bill requiring immigrants to embrace the common culture of the province.

Newcomers to the province must adhere to shared values including gender equality, secularism and protection of the French language.

“Dead Men Don’t Kill”: German Feminists Ignore Link Between Immigration and Rising Crime

Recent attempts to clamp down on violence against women have been criticised for curving around the significant impact of uncontrolled borders.

A banner held by two leftist activists at a vigil for a woman stabbed to death in Fulda, central Germany, last Monday read:

Dead men don’t kill.

Why Does the NYT Oppose White Civil Rights?

On May 25, 2025, the New York Times published a piece by Erica Green, who “covers the White House and reported from Washington,” titled “For Trump, Civil Rights Protections Should Help White Men,” with the subtitle “Administration officials pick and choose which civil rights protections they want to enforce, and for whom.” My head nearly exploded reading this thing.

The featured photograph at the top of the article, showing President Trump walking towards Marine One, has the following caption: “President Trump has turned to civil rights protections in recent weeks to remedy what he sees as the disenfranchisement of white men.”

Yeah, and?

Reliance on ‘Renewables’ Makes Widespread Blackout Nightmare More Likely

A massive blackout left 55 million in Europe in the dark—just as renewables peaked at 78% of grid power, exposing the fragility of unreliable energy dependence.

Imagine taking the subway to work when the train comes to a sudden halt halfway between scheduled stops. You pull out your smartphone to go online and see what the problem is, but you have no reception – no cell signal, no internet.

Hours later, rescue workers arrive to extract you and your fellow passengers from the stalled train. You make your way to the street in hopes of taking a taxi or an Uber. But without your phone apps and with credit card machines inoperable, you are forced to search for an ATM—only to discover those aren’t working, either.

The Wages of COVID — Part One

Why did the government and mainstream media collude to discredit alternative, successful COVID treatments?

The COVID pandemic was and remains one of the largest involuntary wealth transfers in history. Which is why, in trying to get to the bottom of what was done in the name of saving us from the ravages of the virus, it is best to “follow the money.” For in the law, as in life, the money trail will inevitably lead to the truth.

Recall that as the COVID virus spread throughout our panicked nation, our government and its associated medical authorities instructed us to shelter in place.

A proud country cannot keep its first prime minister in a box

Sir John A. Macdonald has been in a box, literally and figuratively, for years.

A statue of Canada’s first prime minister on the lawn of the Ontario legislature was encased with hoarding after it was vandalized in 2020, and it has remained like that for the past five years. Everyone knew what was in the box but we pretended not to see it: the same type of fiction we abet when a child playing hide-and-seek believes that he disappears when he covers his own eyes. It was a timorous half-measure by those clearly wary of running afoul of one group or another, and so we boxed up our history and left it there, assuming that the hoarding would be less ugly than the public’s reaction to an actual decision.

Trust me. Canada’s weasel politicians are proud of “Boxing Macdonald” and all it’s variants.

Footage shows the moment Swiss village is buried by falling glacier

Astonishing new footage shows the moment a Swiss village was buried by a collapsing glacier yesterday, leaving homes in ruin and one person missing.

Video shows a huge cloud of ice and scree spewing over the village of Blatten on Wednesday, dwarfing tiny Alpine lodges as a chunk of the Birch glacier broke off.

Mud and rockfall hit homes as debris hurtled down the mountain slope and into the valley where the village was built.

Scotland: The police think you’re a ‘Nazi’ if you believe in biology

If you have ever wondered why the police ever thought it acceptable to investigate a journalist for her gender-critical beliefs, arrest a woman for ‘misgendering’ or record a non-crime hate incident for a trans-sceptical limerick, then an internal document circulated by Police Scotland may offer a clue. Apparently, some officers genuinely believe that people who believe in biology are really just like the Nazis.

College of Teachers acts against teacher for denouncing Hamas

For years radicals have been trying to insert themselves into our education system.

These are the people who teach that 2+2= racist. That’s not a joke; it’s something that happened.

Now, our education system and the organizations that support it are being used as ways to bring the conflict in the Middle East into the classroom.

Did King Charles go nuts on his Canada trip?

I like King Charles. I visited him at Windsor Castle recently as Mrs. Miller picked up a gong. The castle has been beautifully restored. It is full of treasures, looted from the Empire. There were no refreshments, only a porcelain water bowl for the service dog of one of the honorees.

The King was charming, looking a little the worse for wear, perhaps. He graciously laughed at Mrs. M’s joke. He’s a thoughtful guy. A little odd, which is no bad thing. But he seems to have gone completely nuts on his trip to Canada this week, where he opened Parliament with the most modern of empty gestures.
