UNRWA, the Greatest Welfare Scam Ever

The “Palestinian refugees” are neither Palestinian nor refugees.

The Israeli Army in the Gaza Strip slaying thousands of Muslim Brotherhood brothers (Hamas) came upon evidence of UNRWA employees participating in the satanic events of October 7, which should not surprise because UNRWA has been a major player in the antisemitic fantasy of a “Palestinian people” whose homeland was allegedly stolen from them by the Jews, the lie that justifies the very existence of UNRWA in support of the “victims of Zionism.”

The Trans Movement Conquers Irish Dancing

A Hamilton newspaper recently published three disturbing photographs of women who had been assaulted. One was a picture of bruises across a woman’s thigh. Another was a close-up of the face of a woman who had been heavily bruised around an eye socket. The third was another close-up of an eye, this one a gash just beside a woman’s eye socket.

They looked like police evidence used for a domestic assault case. They weren’t. They were pictures of Hamilton educators highlighting the very real harms they had suffered at the hands of their students.

Canadians won’t be fooled by Putin propaganda about me lying that I didn’t invite a Nazi to Parliament says Trudeau

… Trudeau told reporters on Friday Putin will use “whatever propaganda he can” to try and justify the ongoing invasion of Ukraine.

“But I can tell you, Canadians will not be fooled,” he said at a news conference in King City, Ont.

“Canada stands with Ukraine, not just because we are friends to Ukraine, but because the rules-based order and the system of laws and the UN Charter protect all of us, not just Ukrainians.”

He added his government will continue to support Ukraine.

“Unfortunately, we see the lengths to which Russian propaganda will go to try and impact public opinion, to try and twist things.”

What’s to twist? Trudeau invited Hulka got caught then lied about his involvement.

BC Minister Who Resigned Over Mideast Comments Received Death Threat, Premier Says

British Columbia’s premier says Selina Robinson, who resigned as post-secondary education minister recently over Mideast comments, has received a death threat.

David Eby called the action inexcusable in a statement posted on the social media platform X.

He says police are investigating to find out who is responsible and that Ms. Robinson is safe.

On immigration, the sum of Canada’s special interests is not the national interest

… Ottawa fostered a parallel immigration system that is now far larger than the traditional, permanent immigration system. And unlike the regular immigration system’s economic-immigration stream, the focus is on low-wage labour. The impact is seen in falling gross domestic product per capita and rental housing prices rising much faster than the rate of inflation. Both have the effect of lowering living standards, particularly for low- and middle-income Canadians.

No other developed country is pursuing a policy anything like this.

After Court Victory for Freedom Convoy, Canadians Ready to Sue

Several Freedom Convoy protesters, buoyed by a recent victory in Canadian federal court, said they’re preparing to sue the federal government, banks, and the police that brought the 2022 protest to a heated end.

“I think it’s the second phase to what took place with the federal court case,” military veteran and plaintiff Eddie Cornell said. “We’ve got a big hill to climb, but it’s something that’s necessary. It has to be done.”

Wife of Canadian PM in relationship with surgeon months before announcing separation, bombshell court docs reveal

Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau’s ex-wife “re-partnered” with an Ottawa pediatric surgeon months before the country’s first couple announced they were separating.

Sophie Grégoire Trudeau — who shockingly revealed in August that she was splitting up with the leader after 18 years of marriage — struck up a relationship with Dr. Marcos Bettolli, 48, months before, according to Canada’s National Post.

Ukraine’s mass conscription quandary

In World War Two, the average age of a combat soldier was twenty-six. In the Falklands, it was twenty-three. For Ukrainian soldiers, it’s forty-three. The war in Ukraine has been, so far, fought mostly by fathers so their sons and daughters can rebuild the country when the fighting ends. But resisting Russia has cost so much and has continued for so long that the Ukrainian army is depleted. What to do next is a question that’s not just dividing the country but its two foremost leaders: President Volodymyr Zelensky and Valery Zaluzhny, the head of the military.

Biden promised Gaza aid wouldn’t go to Hamas. He lied.

A week after the horrors of October 7, when the Biden administration first convinced Israel to open up the siege of Gaza and allow in international aid, it promised Hamas would not get it.

“If Hamas in any way blocks humanitarian assistance from reaching civilians, including by seizing the aid itself, we’ll be the first to condemn it. And we will work to prevent it from happening again,” Secretary of State Blinken pledged.

The problem with such a promise was obvious once Deputy National Security Advisor Jon Finer struggled to explain to CNN how it would stop Hamas from taking the aid.

Jack Mintz: Canada has lost $225 billion in foreign investment since 2016

According to the OECD, Canada was the third largest recipient of foreign direct investment (FDI) inflows in the first three quarters of 2023 (at US$42 billion), behind only the United States and Brazil. Does that mean Canada is doing well attracting capital, as the federal government has argued? Not really. Not if you consider outflows, too.

A Quick Look at the 21st Century So Far

We are not quite a quarter of the way into the 21st century, but already a few clear structural trends have emerged, even if it is impossible to predict the next “black swans” — radically unpredictable events with far-reaching consequences – that might occur. Here are four of the trends.

Since 2000, Europe has stagnated on many fronts — anemic growth, a crashing birth rate, military disinvestment — from which countries such as Belgium and Germany have still not emerged. Perhaps most worrying of all, according to criteria such as patents, capital investment, and stock market giants such as GAFA (Google, Apple, Facebook, Amazon), Europe has stopped innovating. People innovate in the United States; they still innovate in Asia, but in Europe – hardly at all. If you add to this the European Union’s obsession with the environment, which has become little more than a machinery for imposing constraints, vexations, punishments and taxes in the name of “energy transition”, it appears that stagnation is a problem from which Europe might have the greatest difficulty in freeing itself.

Fake News: NDP threatens stalling tactics, end of agreement with Liberals over slow pace of pharmacare talks

The federal NDP has warned its Parliament Hill staff to prepare themselves for the possible sudden termination of the party’s supply-and-confidence deal with the Liberals — a bipartisan cooperation agreement which may be holding off an early election.

A senior NDP source who was not authorized to speak publicly told CBC News the party held a meeting Tuesday to tell staffers that, with negotiations with the Trudeau Liberals on pharmacare dragging on, the deal could be headed for an early grave.

Garbage Fake News.
