REPORT: Barack Obama Is Telling Joe Biden to Quit the 2024 Race

Earlier this month, we learned that Barack Obama advised Joe Biden on how to beef up his reelection campaign. Now, he appears to have given up all hope for Biden’s struggling campaign.

The former president and other allies of Biden’s have advised him “to quit the 2024 race to save America and the Democratic Party,” according to a report from RadarOnline.

Toronto needs to stop squeezing its homeowners for tax revenue

Toronto’s budget deficit, now at $1.5-billion, is not solely the responsibility of homeowners, so the city should not be expecting them to fund all its needs. Yet that is exactly what it is doing with its plan to raise property taxes by an astronomical 10.5 per cent.

It is neither equitable nor financially possible for many residents to pay such taxes. Indeed, imposing the responsibility of generating additional city revenue disproportionately on homeowners will only exacerbate the affordability crisis.

Toronto has many stupid peoples.

GOLDSTEIN: Size, cost of civil service out of control under Trudeau government, report finds

The Trudeau government has increased the size of the federal public service by 37.9%, or almost 100,000 additional employees, since coming to power in 2015, according to a new study by the Montreal Economic Institute.

As of March 31, 2023, the total number of federal employees reached 357,247, the study says, marking the biggest staff increase since 1984.

This is just another example of the Liberal party buying votes with your tax dollars.

When you add up all public service employees at all levels of government federal, provincial, municipal plus the staff of tax payer dependent NGO’s it amounts to a sizable vote bloc.

Add in spouses and other family members and the Liberals have a built in edge against any opponent who raises the spectre of cuts to government bureacracy.

While no group is homogenous I am certain the vast majority of our bureacrats will vote Liberal-left.

NYU Professor Tells Students of Hamas Atrocities: ‘We Know It’s Not True’

Amin Husain added that New York is a ‘Zionist city,’ and bragged about violence against Israel at an event at The New School last month.

An adjunct NYU professor denied reports that the terrorist group Hamas beheaded babies and raped women in Israel on October 7, telling a group of students last month: “We know it’s not true.”

“We live in a Zionist city,” Amin Husain added at the December 5 “teach-in” organized by Students for Justice in Palestine at The New School, according to a video obtained by The Free Press.

“No, let’s be real about this, let’s be fucking real.”

Trudeau’s mass migration cult is destroying Canada

Quality of life, per capita income and social cohesion are being sacrificed to a third world ‘population trap’

When wokeness, the making sacred of historically-disadvantaged minorities, takes control of a society like Canada, the effects go far beyond plans to stock tampons in men’s bathrooms. There, taboo-driven mass immigration is not only resulting in cultural tensions but in economic paralysis and soaring housing costs.

You know things have gone crazy when even economists at the National Bank of Canada are sounding the alarm. They say the country has entered a “population trap” in which savings are sucked into providing infrastructure and capital for new arrivals, impairing economic growth. More than that, the immense pressure of the 1.2 million new residents the country added in 2023 is driving the cost of housing through the roof. To put this number into scale, it’s larger than the population of most Canadian cities and 8 of the country’s 13 provinces and territories.

Trudeau is Canada’s worst PM in history.

Premier North American Muslim group CAIR now fighting a sex scandal lawsuit after it’s dropped by White House over ‘happy’ Hamas attack remark

A controversial Islamic group — which the White House cut ties with after its director said he was “happy” about Hamas’ terror attack against Israel on Oct. 7 — is facing allegations of sexual assault and harassment.

The suit could see the Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR) forced to open its books amid claims secret foreign donors are funding its multi-million budget.

Lori Saroya was once, in the words of one person who knows her, the “golden child” of CAIR.

Liberal MP backs away from leadership review comments as caucus meets in Ottawa

Avalon MP Ken McDonald told CBC News he thinks it’s time for party members to “clear the air” and have a conversation about the direction of the party.

Article content
But as he prepares to meet with his colleagues today, McDonald is climbing down from those comments.

In a statement, he says he did not mean to call for a leadership review and continues to support Trudeau because he has the best interests of Canadians at heart.

They killed Kenny!

Why are Lib MP’s loyal? Likely because they hope to be awarded a cushy sinecure after being booted from office next election.

No sane individual can expect a Trudeau win after the horrific damage he has done to Canadian society.

Damage he cannot fix no matter how hard he lies.

Of course that worm theory could be true.

BBC ‘misrepresented’ Covid risk to boost lockdown support, says top scientist

Corporation accused of reporting rare deaths as the norm during pandemic

The BBC was allowed to “misrepresent” the risk posed by Covid to most people to boost public support for lockdown, the UK Covid Inquiry has heard.

Prof Mark Woolhouse, an eminent epidemiologist and government adviser, lambasted the corporation for having “repeatedly reported rare deaths or illnesses among healthy adults as if they were the norm”.

He said this created the “misleading impression” among BBC News viewers at the start of the pandemic that “we are all at risk” and “the virus does not discriminate”.

Canada’s health system gave me a choice: years of disability, or $22k for private surgery

My hip pain started around 2015, when I was in my mid-30s. It began as stiffness, then a pinch or tweak. My wife Barbara and I live on an acreage in Sturgeon County, Alberta, with our three kids, where we raise a handful of cows and some chickens. So our lives are very active, and I’m also a park maintenance supervisor at a nearby provincial park. That’s a physical job too, maintaining buildings, outhouses and campsites. I wasn’t exactly used to sitting still, and at first I pushed through the pain—I figured it was something minor, and I just did some extra stretching.

Ontario civil servants win almost 10% pay hike in Bill 124 battle

Civil servants in Ontario have won a pay increase worth almost 10 per cent for the three years their wages were frozen by Bill 124.

The pay increase for non-political staffers who work in the provincial government comes after mediation and arbitration between the union and the Ford government.

It comes as the union continues to win backpay deals from the province over its wage restraint law, Bill 124.

Tucker Carlson brought controversy to Danielle Smith’s Calgary — then took her somewhere dicier

Back at work in Alberta after two weeks of vacation, Premier Danielle Smith chose as her first public appearance in 2024 a conversation on stage with Tucker Carlson, the U.S. commentator whose views and remarks became too much for his Fox News bosses to tolerate.

On Tuesday night, they enjoyed a private dinner together in Calgary, these two former mainstream broadcasters, one now a government leader and one who’s fielded speculation about becoming Donald Trump’s vice-presidential running mate.

“And had the best time, thank you,” Carlson told Smith at the start of their 17 minutes together at his sold-out speaking event. “Thank you for letting me, a rank foreigner, ask you questions.

UK: A third of young people say Israel is acting like the Nazis, survey finds

Anti-Semitism campaigners say rhetoric in wake of Oct 7 attack is radicalising ‘generation hate’

A third of young people say that Israel is acting like the Nazis, research for an anti-Semitism charity shows.

In polling conducted in December, 34 per cent of 18- to 24-year-olds agreed with the statement “Israel treats the Palestinians like the Nazis treated the Jews”. The result among all adults was 30 per cent.

The figure marks a record high in the annual survey. In 2022, 23 per cent of Britons agreed with the statement, along with 31 per cent of young people.
