The billionaires’ dream city that’s a nightmare for Californians

Addressing a crowd of frowning faces inside a packed hall in Vacaville, northern California, Jan Sramek extols the virtues of the new city he hopes to build nearby.

With a slick presentation promising well-paying jobs, affordable homes and an eco-friendly community, the former Goldman Sachs trader sells the project as a solution to the state’s dire housing shortage.

The Hunter Biden indictment shames the Democratic elites

The liberal media’s disinterest in the president’s lowlife son looks utterly ridiculous now.

Christmas has come a few weeks early for me this year, with the news that the US president’s party-hardy son, Hunter Biden, has been indicted on multiple tax offences. I have been following the Hunter Biden saga since early 2020, when I learned that Hunter in 2013 had accompanied his then vice-president father on a trip to China on Air Force Two, and while there he had conducted his own business meetings on the taxpayers’ dime.

World War Two: When 600 US planes crashed in Himalayas

Since 2009, Indian and American teams have scoured the mountains in India’s north-eastern state of Arunachal Pradesh, looking for the wreckage and remains of lost crews of hundreds of planes that crashed here over 80 years ago.

Some 600 American transport planes are estimated to have crashed in the remote region, killing at least 1,500 airmen and passengers during a remarkable and often-forgotten 42-month-long World War Two military operation in India. Among the casualties were American and Chinese pilots, radio operators and soldiers.

The operation sustained a vital air transport route from the Indian states of Assam and Bengal to support Chinese forces in Kunming and Chunking (now called Chongqing).

France: 4 in 10 Muslim students refuse to unequivocally condemn stabbing of teacher in Islamist terror attack

Nearly 4 in 10 Muslim students in France opted against unequivocally condemning the stabbing of teacher Dominique Bernard by an Islamist extremist on Oct. 13 in recent polling.

The Ifop survey asked a weighted sample of 1,805 students in French state education between the ages of 15 and 17 the following: “A teacher, Dominique Bernard, was murdered by an Islamist of Ingush origin in a high school in Arras. When you think of the perpetrator of this assassination, what is your reaction?”

They’re just being good Muslims. Murder pleases Allah.

How a teenage lie led to the beheading of a teacher

Six youngsters in France have been convicted of their roles in the savage killing of Samuel Paty after false accusations generated a storm online

Just 14 minutes before he stabbed and decapitated Samuel Paty, a French school teacher he felt deserved to die for the sin of blasphemy, Abdoullakh Anzorov made a last check that he was about to kill the right man.

It was a Friday afternoon in October 2020, and the Chechen-born Islamist was standing near a school in Conflans-Sainte-Honorine, a sleepy suburban town northwest of Paris. He was talking to a group of five boys, aged 14 and 15, to whom he had promised a €300 (£257) reward for pointing out their teacher to him as he walked home after class.

Grave Error: Correcting the False Narrative of Canada’s “Missing Children”

Virtue signaling liar.

The new book Grave Error: How the Media Misled Us (and the Truth about Residential Schools) constitutes a response to the moral panic unleashed in Canada on May 27, 2021, when the Chief of the Tk’emlúps te Secwepemc (aka, the Kamloops Indian Band) announced that ground-penetrating radar (GPR) had located the remains of 215 “missing children” in an apple orchard on the grounds of the local residential school.

Christmas is cancelled in Bethlehem

Bethlehem Nativity scene places baby Jesus in rubble

Celebrations will be kept to a minimum in the birthplace of Jesus as Palestinian Christians recognise the suffering of their ‘brothers and sisters’ in Gaza

In Bethlehem, the West Bank town where Jesus was born, the carol singing has been cancelled, the fairy lights dimmed and the tree never put up.

Christmas will be less festive this year after the churches of the Holy Land demanded a more solemn period of reflection in recognition of the suffering felt by the people of Gaza. Israeli attacks have killed more than 17,000 people there since the Hamas attacks that killed 1,400 Israelis on October 7. In the town’s Lutheran church, the Nativity scene depicts a child buried in rubble.

Jenny Hazan: Are Canadians going to stand up to Jew hate?

Over the past month and a half, Jews around the world have acquired incredible clarity on antisemitism.

The view in Canada is chilling — massive pro-Palestinian and even pro-Hamas protests featuring thousands of furious people calling unequivocally for the genocide and extermination of Israel “from the river to the sea.”

Sorry to break it to you Jenny but Canada has been Mass Immigrated & Multicultured into a sick society. There is no going back.

And FYI all the demos are “Pro-Hamas.”

Protester arrested at pro-Hamas rally in Toronto for allegedly assaulting police officer

A pro-Palestinian rally turned violent Sunday afternoon as police clashed with protesters outside the U.S. Consulate in Toronto, leading to at least one arrest.

The Star observed a police officer on foot ram his bicycle into the bicycle of a woman standing in front of him. The woman, who was holding her bicycle, fell over as the bike toppled. A man ran up after and shoved an officer to the ground in retaliation. Police then tackled, beat and arrested him.

Conrad Black: No one could match Henry Kissinger, even at 100

When someone dies at the age of 100 it is rarely deemed to be premature. In the case of Henry Kissinger, he maintained his unique aptitudes right to the end of his life and his insights on foreign and strategic policy matters were so perceptive and original and his gifts for repartee and aphorisms were undiminished; his demise would have been untimely even if he had lived for another 25 years. He was both one of history’s great foreign ministers and one of the world’s outstanding academic historians of international relations and great power strategy.

Thought it best to add an opposing viewpoint…

The two faces of Henry Kissinger – This nice Jewish boy was a natural liar

In the coming days, many will lavish praise and blame on Henry Kissinger for what he did and did not do. A prime example is the coup in Chile that removed Salvador Allende in 1973, which Kissinger welcomed but did not cause. With thousands of US academics teaching the falsehood of his guilt as truth, Kissinger just had to live with the calumny.

The UN and Israel have never gotten along

For an entity that has tried to delegitimize Israel, it has done a better job of delegitimizing itself

There’s an old joke about the United Nations having a soccer team. “But who would they play?” it goes. “Why, Israel of course.”

There may not be much humor in it, but there’s plenty of truth. Despite Israel being set up by UN vote, it has been the world’s premier forum for Israel-bashing, particularly since the country won wars of self-defense in 1967 and 1973.

Rockefeller’s Dream: Global Governance Through ‘Climate Change’

Like the left’s “long march through the institutions,” David Rockefeller played the long game.

David Rockefeller, grandson of oil magnate John D. and longtime head of the Chase Manhattan Bank, must be laughing his head off right now, for his global government dream might come into existence through one of the most ridiculous and unbelievable scams in history, called “climate change.”

Anti-Semitism is being normalised in British life

In 1144, the murder of a tanner’s apprentice in Norwich was blamed on French-speaking Jews, birthing a shameful tradition of blood libel that ascribed to Jews a penchant for murdering children.

As the unknown person who recently scrawled graffiti outside my house put it: “think Gaza”. Are the Israelis trying to kill infants? Of course not. They understand that every death is a victory for Hamas in the international arena.

The ease with which so many reach for Jewish malevolence to explain the Palestinian tragedy has roots reaching back to East Anglia. But no longer do the good people of Norwich throw Jews down wells. Rather, the local council equivocated this week about the public Chanukah lighting.

A Symphonic Version of Terror

The history of terrorism in pursuit of political aims is as long as history itself.

However, the past two decades have witnessed important, and needless to say worrying, developments in what could be seen as a zoological version of political activism.

The old versions saw disgruntled individuals assassinating powerful enemies. Julius Caesar was stabbed to death by 53 Senators led by his closest friends, Marcus Junius Brutus and Gaius Cassius Longinus. Nizam al-Mulk, he powerful Grand Vizir of Seljuks in Iran, suffered the same fate at the hands of 18 Nizari hashasheen (assassins) including a Russian slave. The Qajar Nasseredin Shah was dispatched with a single bullet while mumbling “Son of a Donkey!”
