An Inconvenient Truth at 20: A hoax in hindsight

An Inconvenient Truth at 20: A hoax in hindsight

In July 2006, while still a relatively young columnist at the Denver Post, I published a piece headlined, “Chill out over global warming.”

The column was exceptionally unpopular with readers. Rewardingly so. Yet, I hadn’t merely been mouthing off. In it, I interviewed meteorologist Roger Pielke Sr., a professor at the University of Colorado, and Colorado State University’s Bill Gray, perhaps the world’s foremost hurricane expert at the time. Both were skeptical of the doomsday predictions offered by climate change activist Al Gore in his recently released film, An Inconvenient Truth.

New book alleges ‘fraud, tax evasion and culture of deception’ at ‘green’ EU & Canadian EV Battery darling Northvolt

New book alleges ‘fraud, tax evasion and culture of deception’ at ‘green’ EU & Canadian EV Battery darling Northvolt

A new book by award-winning Swedish investigative journalist Gunnar Lindstedt alleges there was a culture of deception, financial mismanagement and regulatory failure at the heart of the bankrupt Swedish battery giant Northvolt.

Released yesterday, The Northvolt Case (Northvoltfallet) reveals that Sweden’s Economic Crime Authority (Ekobrottsmyndigheten) has quietly opened a formal investigation into the company for alleged tax evasion, accounting fraud and even potential fraud by deception (svindleri). These are allegations that, if proven, could implicate not just the company’s leadership but its auditors and board members as well.

PINDER: They admitted it — UN climate policy was never about the environment

No global organization has been more influential regarding public opinion and policies of governments than the United Nations (UN). Out of thin air, in an atmosphere of historically low carbon dioxide levels, it concocted a climate “narrative” with immense consequences.

What follows is an explanation of how this occurred.

Federal loan to Nova Scotia wind farm managed by firm owned by Liberal MPs family members being investigated

At hearings in Ottawa on Wednesday, the head of the Canada Infrastructure Bank refused to state the interest rate on the $206-million loan to a wind farm project that’s being managed by a company owned by the family members of three former Liberal MPs and a former Nova Scotia Liberal Party leader.

The examination of the deal by the Standing Committee on Transport, Infrastructure and Communities was launched after The Chronicle Herald revealed that Roswall Development Inc., parent company to Renewall Energy, which will be selling the power from the Mersey River wind project, has deep Liberal connections.

Climate Change is Not Causing Mass Extinctions, Says Bombshell Royal Society Paper

When the history of the great Net Zero climate hoax comes to be written, pride of place will be given to the terrifying sixth mass extinction scare. Mainstream media barely question the idea that human-controlled climate is wreaking havoc with the life chances of millions of animal and plant species around the world. In November 2024, the Guardian reported that “as the planet warms up, scientists predict a series of ‘extinction cliffs’”. We are in danger of forgetting what the climate crisis means: extinction, was the cheerful article headline. But a recent bombshell report from the UK Royal Society has knocked seven bells out of all this nonsense by showing that species-level extinctions related to climate change “have not significantly increased over the last approximately 200 years”.

GOLDSTEIN: UN’s global climate-change strategy a house of cards

On the heels of a report that says Canada will fail to meet its industrial greenhouse gas emission reduction targets in its ostensible fight against climate change comes a new United Nations report that says the same is true for global emissions.

The UN estimates global emissions will decrease by 17% compared to 1990 levels by 2035, far short of the 60% needed to avoid what it says would be catastrophic global warming, meaning an average global temperature increase of more than 1.5 C to 2 C.

The US Government Signs the Death Warrant for Eco-Catastrophism

In an official report dated July 2025, “A Critical Review of Impacts of Greenhouse Gas Emissions on the U.S. Climate,” the U.S. Department of Energy acknowledged a warming trend since the onset of the industrial era. The government conceded that human activity may have contributed to greenhouse gas pollution, yet stresses that, given the scale of natural variations, such attribution remains difficult. The report concluded that the only rational response is adaptation — an approach that presupposes technological progress and the creation of wealth.

Another fake Net Zero market that nobody wanted is set to collapse

Literally nobody asked for bioethanol. It is only produced because of green targets

This week came news that UK bioethanol producer Vivergo Fuels is once again on the brink of closure – this time as a result of the UK’s trade deal with the US, which removes tariffs on cheaper American bioethanol imports. Its rival, Ensus UK, faces a similarly uncertain future.

Vivergo produces enough bioethanol to supply about 30 per cent of the UK’s bioethanol needs for low carbon road fuels. Government rules require a percentage of bioethanol to be blended into petrol before it can be sold in order to reduce the carbon dioxide emissions associated with transport – considered to be one of the hardest to abate sectors.

Climate breakdown is the mutant offspring of European scientific racism and colonialism claims stupid twat

Now showing more anti white bullshit

We all think we know what is causing the breakdown of the planet’s climate: burning fossil fuels that release carbon dioxide, change the chemistry of the air and trap more heat from the sun, leading to rising temperatures.

But Tao Leigh Goffe, an associate professor of Africana, Puerto Rican and Latino Studies at the City University of New York, wants us to visualise a far more specific cause: the shunting of a ship’s prow on to the sandbank of a paradise island in 1492.

In Dark Laboratory, her groundbreaking new book, Goffe argues that it was the colonisation of the Americas by Christopher Columbus that set off the chain of events that has led us to where we stand today, on the precipice of global catastrophe.

The downfall of climate change poster boy Michael Mann

‘If Mann cannot even be trusted to tell the truth when he’s under oath & in court on pain of perjury, why on earth should any of us take him seriously on the subject of climate change?’

Even if you’ve never heard of Michael Mann, you will have felt his baleful influence on your energy bills. He is the inventor of the hockey stick chart, which shows a sharp increase in late 20th century global temperatures, like the blade of an ice hockey stick. It put rocket boosters on the climate change scare and was used as an excuse by policymakers to send green taxes, tariffs and regulations soaring.

Mann was an obscure academic who had just been given his PhD at the University of Massachusetts when his graph was published in the journal Nature in 1998. Within months – fêted everywhere from the New York Times to the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) – he’d become the poster boy for the alleged global warming apocalypse. Never before had a scientist demonstrated the threat of imminent climate catastrophe so graphically or dramatically.

How China Uses Fellow Travelers To Exploit The West’s Climate Anxiety

In the fight against climate change, China loves to present itself as the world’s White Knight. Armed with wind turbines and solar panels, EVs and batteries, it will rescue us from oblivion if only we would let it.

There’s no shortage of western politicians, academics and organisations who are happy to go along with the idea that China is an ally in the global green revolution. The argument, broadly put, is that whatever our differences on other things (trifles such as security, economics and human rights), surely we can agree on saving the planet.

Canada launches program to support climate disaster layoff victims

Workers who lose their jobs due to climate-related disasters like wildfires will now have access to enhanced unemployment benefits under a new federal pilot program.

Blacklock’s Reporter says the three-year initiative, announced by the Employment Insurance Commission, is set to cost $4.3 million and aims to provide relief to those impacted by extreme weather events.

‘Green’ ferry emits more CO2 than old diesel ship

The carbon footprint of a long-delayed new “green” ferry will be far larger than the 31-year-old diesel ship that usually serves the route between the Scottish mainland and the island of Arran.

An emissions analysis by CalMac has calculated MV Glen Sannox will emit 10,391 equivalent tonnes of CO2 a year compared with 7,732 for MV Caledonian Isles.

The dual-fuel ferry has more car capacity but requires larger engines which also emit methane, a greenhouse gas with a far greater global warming effect than CO2.

Dirty Green Money

The UN’s latest global warming conference may be one of its last.

“I’m also listening to ‘Bitch Better Have My Money’ by Rihanna nonstop,” Juan Carlos Monterrey Gomez, the vice chair for the implementation of the UN Climate Convention, told reporters.

The 2024 United Nations Climate Change Conference being held in Baku was all about money.

GUNTER: Seeing red over Libs’ green slush fund

It’s been said that “Success has many fathers, but failure is an orphan.” By that standard, the Sustainable Development Technology Canada (SDTC), more commonly known as the green slush fund), is a failure. No one in the Liberal government or the federal bureaucracy even admits to knowing about the widespread misspending of taxpayer dollars – nearly $1 billion – nor the handing out of rich contracts to friends of the fund’s directors and the directors themselves.
