Germany: Shocking Rise in Left-Wing Antisemitic Acts

A survey published this week by the German Central Council of Jews reports that a third of Jews in Germany have experienced some type of antisemitic attack since October 7th. The attacks have ranged from antisemitic graffiti to personal insults, and almost all communities report increased psychological pressure, receiving threatening calls and threatening emails.

A stunning 80% of the Jewish religious congregation leaders surveyed stated that life has become more unsafe for Jews—specifically Jews who wish to express their faith in public in any form—since the October massacre.

Germany has a tendency to classify Muslim anti-semitism as “right-wing.”

It now costs more to afford basic necessities in Calgary than in Vancouver, Toronto: StatsCan

It now costs more to afford basic necessities in Calgary than in any other major city in the country — including Vancouver and Toronto — according to Statistics Canada’s updated market basket measure.

The market basket measure is Canada’s official measure of household income poverty. It defines how much a family of four would have to earn to afford a basic standard of living, and that’s calculated by the cost of a basket of basic goods and services, including food, clothing, shelter and transportation.

Families are considered to be living below the poverty line if their disposable income is less than their city’s market basket measure.

Schoolchildren taught St Hadrian was ‘black’ scholar – even though he wasn’t

Schoolchildren have been taught that St Hadrian was black despite there being no evidence for the claim.

The Dark Age abbot St Hadrian of Canterbury has been referred to as a “black scholar” in primary school teaching material, despite the holy man being of north African origin and not black.

The seventh-century abbot has been included in numerous overviews of black British history, including those provided by charities and local councils.

Tasha Kheiriddin: Another sham inquiry into foreign interference

Is Judge Marie-Josée Hogue the new David Johnston? The Quebec Court of Appeals judge was appointed in early September to head the Public Inquiry into Foreign Interference in Federal Electoral Processes and Democratic Institutions, months after “special rapporteur” Johnston had concluded that an inquiry wasn’t necessary.

Why won’t governments reduce immigration?

I’m fascinated by the subject of immigration because I’m a sucker for moral complexity. For decades, too, I’ve been an immigrant myself, though I’ve played by the rules (at some cost), and I’ve never been a burden on the state (to the contrary). Besides, I am by nature territorial. Even having perfectly agreeable house-sitters in London during my summers in Brooklyn has been painful, and the first thing this Goldilocks has always done on returning home is expunge every reminder that bears have been sleeping in my bed and eating my porridge. That said, we’re all territorial. Hence the moral complexity.

U.N. Climate Scientists Want Your Government To Answer To Them Instead Of You

Several scientist members of the United Nations’ Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) want more influence over governments to bring about their radical and potentially deadly climate policies. “Five lead authors of IPCC reports” insisted “that scientists should be given the right to make policy prescriptions and, potentially, to oversee their implementation by the 195 states signed up to the U.N. framework convention on climate change,” The Guardian’s Arthur Neslen reported Thursday.

“At some point we need to say that if you want to achieve this aim set by policymakers then certain policies need to be implemented,” said IPCC Vice-Chair Sonia Seneviratne. The “policies” Seneviratne is referring to are “fossil fuel cuts and phaseouts,” reported Neslen.

Saxony Spy Agency Classifies State’s Most Popular Party As ‘Extremist’

The Office for the Protection of the Constitution in the German state of Saxony has formally classified the conservative, antiglobalist Alternative für Deutschland (AfD)—the state’s most popular party—as a “right-wing extremist” outfit. Leading AfD officials say the move is little more than a desperate attempt to drag the party’s name through the mud before next year’s elections.

Naked outrage from the left over surrendered Hamas terrorists in their underwear

In today’s ‘oh spare us’ news, the left is having an absolute cow over Israeli troops flushing out Hamas terrorists from their snake holes and then forcing them to strip down to their underwear to prove to that yes, they were surrendering, and no, they didn’t have a gun in their pants or a shiv in their shoes, or a strap-on bomb in their pocket, or a dynamite pack in some orifice, which is a pretty standard military safety precaution.
