Pennsylvania governor slams anti-Semitic mob who screamed ‘You can’t hide, we charge you with genocide’ into Jewish-owned Philly restaurant

An anti-Semitic mob was blasted by Pennsylvania’s governor for screaming threats into a Jewish-owned falafel store in Philadelphia.

The group marched at the Goldie’s location in Center City chanting: ‘Goldie, Goldie you can’t hide, we charge you with genocide.’

The Philadelphia chain is owned by Mike Solomonov, an Israeli-born, Pittsburgh raised chef who has won the James Beard Award in the past.

Chretien-era Liberals say Trudeau, NDP, and carbon taxes are doomed

Two Chretien-era Liberals say the NDP will be “decimated” in the next election for supporting a “corrupt” Trudeau government.

Former Liberal Party president Stephen LeDrew and former Ontario MP Dan McTeague shared their thoughts in videos on the former’s YouTube Channel, The Ledrew Three Minute Interview.

In a segment provocatively entitled, Will The NDP Be Decimated In The Next Election For Keeping A Corrupt Liberal Government In Power? LeDrew suggested they would.

Paris attack: Mother of suspect had ‘reported concerns’, prosecutor says

The mother of a man suspected of stabbing a German tourist to death near the Eiffel Tower in Paris reported concerns about her son weeks before the attack, a prosecutor has said.

Two others, including a British man, were injured in the attack on Saturday.

A 26-year-old French man was later arrested, and anti-terrorism prosecutors opened an investigation.

France’s interior minister said there was a “failure” in the alleged attacker’s psychiatric treatment.

Conspiracy theories are popular in Canada, especially among conservatives: poll

OTTAWA – The Earth is flat. We have been secretly contacted by intelligent beings from other planets. Neil Armstrong and Buzz Aldrin did not land on the moon in 1969. They may sound like bizarre statements, but a new poll suggests a sizable number of Canadians believe in these and other conspiracy theories.

About five per cent of us are flat-earthers, the poll suggests, while 11 per cent say they think the lunar landings were a hoax. And one-third of respondents say they think evidence that aliens have been in contact with our planet is being hidden from the public.

Zelensky is losing popularity because of his mistakes, says mayor of Kyiv

Volodymyr Zelensky’s popularity is falling and he will pay for his mistakes by eventually losing power, the mayor of Kyiv Vladimir Klitschko has said.

In a startling rebuke of Ukraine’s president, Mr Klitschko told two interviewers that he considered Mr Zelensky to be increasingly isolated and autocratic.

“People see who’s effective and who’s not. And there were and still are a lot of expectations. Zelensky is paying for mistakes he has made,” he said in an interview with the Swiss news website 20 Minutes.

Justin Trudeau on last legs as Canadians are getting fed up with woke leader

Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau is facing increasing discontent as a new poll reveals that 72 percent of Canadians believe he should step down from his role.

The Ipsos survey, released this week, shows a significant decline in support for Trudeau, who has been in power since 2015. He still has two years to go before the next Canadian elections.

King Charles Delivers Highly-Politicised Speech to Support Collectivist Net Zero Project

It could have been worse. King Charles could have ascended to his desert dais and pronounced that we had just 96 months to avert “irretrievable climate and ecosystem collapse”. But that was the Right Charlie back in 2009, giving us the benefit of his sandwich-board scientific wisdom. These days it is all fashionable bad weather and undefined “tipping points”. The man is now King, and at COP28 he threw away his irksome politically-neutral constitutional role, wrapped himself in Guardianista pseudoscience, and punched down hard on the poor who will be forced to pay for the collectivist madness that is the Net Zero project.

Anthony Furey: As Guilbeault Jets Off to Climate Shindig, First Nations File Suit Over Carbon Tax

It’s quite a study in contrasts. Right after First Nations’ leaders commenced a court challenge against the beleaguered federal carbon tax, Environment Minister Steven Guilbeault thought it a good idea to hop on a plane and burn some GHGs to head to a climate change party in Dubai.

One of these two actions is completely tone deaf and out of step with the daily concerns of regular folks, and I think it’s fair to say anyone who is struggling to make ends meet during this affordability crisis can easily identify which one it is.

Children of Isis brides quietly sent to UK for adoption

Brides of Satan

The children of Isis brides from Britain are being quietly returned to this country and put up for adoption.

In one case, two siblings aged under eight are to be found new homes here after their mother was killed during fighting in Syria and their father was captured and jailed by western allies. The siblings are expected to be adopted even though one set of grandparents, who live in another country, are said to be willing to care for them.

As good as it gets.

Howard Levitt: University campuses an unsurprising maelstrom in response to Israel-Hamas war

The Israel-Hamas war has ignited a maelstrom of legal activity in workplaces and, for today’s purposes, on university campuses.

There are now class-action lawsuits pending against at least three Canadian universities alleging that, for many years, a culture of anti-Semitism has made their campus environments intolerable for Jewish students, most egregiously since Oct. 7. Boycott, Divestment, Sanctions (BDS) protests and radical leftist student councils passing motions and taking other overt actions against their Jewish members created the tinder which has now ignited.

Randall Denley: Bonnie Crombie’s dismal little victory

New Ontario Liberal leader Bonnie Crombie is supposed to be the saviour of her party, the candidate endorsed by what’s left of the party establishment, the political all-star with name recognition and electability. Her campaign was so sure that she’d blow away her three bright, but little known, opponents that they predicted a first ballot victory.

In the end, the expected tidal wave of support was little more than a ripple. It took three ballots before Crombie was able to eke out a narrow win Saturday over MP Nate Erskine-Smith, taking 53.4 per cent of the vote.

Why the far left sides with Hamas

The great fault of the global left is not that it supports Hamas. For how could western left-wing movements or left-inclining charities or academic bodies truly support Hamas if they were serious about their politics?

No one outside the most reactionary quarters of Islam shares Hamas’s aim of forcing the people of the world to accept ‘the sovereignty of Islam’ or face ‘carnage, displacement and terror’ if they refuse. You cannot be a progressive and campaign for a state that executes gay men. An American left, which includes in its ranks the Queers for Palestine campaign group, cannot seriously endorse lethal homophobia in its own country. Their kind will turn a blind eye in Palestine, but not in New York or Chicago. No left-wing organisation proudly honours the Protocols of the Elders of Zion and the fascist tradition Hamas embraces, although in a sign of a decay that has been building on the left for more than a generation, many will promulgate left-wing conspiracy theories which are as insane as their fascist counterparts.

These Experts Advocated for Lockdowns; Now They Say They Were Wrong

As the dust settles from the COVID-19 pandemic and the fallout over lockdown policies becomes more pronounced, some lockdown proponents, like New York University Professor Scott Galloway, have admitted they were wrong for supporting lockdowns.

“I was on the board of my kid’s school during COVID. I wanted a harsher lockdown policy. In retrospect, I was wrong,” Mr. Galloway told Bill Maher.

“The damage to kids of keeping them out of school longer was greater than the risk. But here’s the bottom line, myself, our great people at the CDC, I’d like to think the governor, we were all operating with imperfect information, and we were doing our best.” he said, referring to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and then-New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo.

US prison deaths soared by 77% during height of Covid-19 crisis, study finds

A study of US prison deaths at the height of the Covid-19 crisis in 2020 has found that mortality rates soared by 77% relative to 2019, or more than three times the increase in the general population.

The study, published by Science Advances last week, is the most comprehensive analysis of in-custody deaths since 2020. The report found that “Covid-19 was the primary driver for increases in mortality due to natural causes; some states also experienced substantial increases due to unnatural causes.”

How Hollywood ‘is turning a blind eye to Saudi Arabia’s human rights abuses’

Some of Hollywood’s biggest stars have been accused of turning a blind eye to Saudi Arabia’s ‘egregious’ human rights abuses by going to a film festival in the Kingdom.

The likes of Will Smith, Sharon Stone and Johnny Depp have already attended the Red Sea Film Fesival in Jeddah, which human rights groups say is being for ‘arts-washing’.

The festival, which is run by a foundation chaired by the Saudi culture minister, is said to have offered stars as much as $1million each for their appearances.
