Danielle Smith to invoke Sovereignty Act on Ottawa power rules Monday

The Danielle Smith government intends to put its Sovereignty Act into action on Monday to shield Alberta power companies from the proposed federal clean electricity regulations, as CBC News first reported Friday.

The province will use the controversial law to introduce a resolution in the legislature that declares Ottawa’s plan to slash grid emissions an unconstitutional federal measure, and spell out ways the regulations would not be enforced in Alberta, according to sources familiar with the matter.

This is just the beginning of Ireland’s riots

The Government still isn’t listening to voters’ immigration concerns

Dublin has stealthily become a tinderbox on issues of immigration. When news began to filter through on Thursday that a five-year-old girl (now in a stable but critical condition) had been stabbed, allegedly by a man originally from Algeria, the whole city braced. Many saw images of young men in the area pushing back against police and hoped that was as bad as the reaction would get.

How a Second World War handbook is transforming IDF tactics on the northern front

Israeli troops adopt a ‘back to basics’ approach in their cat-and-mouse battle with Hezbollah near the Lebanon border

The shockwave from the Israeli gun shatters the peace of the abandoned kibbutz, just a mile from the Lebanon border.

A second comes a few seconds later, followed quickly by a third.

The bangs arrive simultaneously with the punch of the blasts – it suggests the artillery is close.

But you’d have to work hard to spot them.

The latest assault in the war on whites

Now showing more anti white bullshit

A racial inquisition is underway against white people, who are falsely accused of oppressing everyone else. Whites are being demonized, marginalized, stereotyped, denigrated, and suppressed at every turn. The left, says author Ben Shapiro, wants to portray America as “an incurable mass of bigoted whites.” President Biden bought in to this lie when he declared that white supremacy is the number-one threat to the nation.

Dear Useful Idiots: Hamas Nazis and Other Jihadists are Using You

The impact of the terror attacks in Israel on October 7 has been so severe that there are now “before October 7” and “after October 7” eras. The world is not the same. The issue of jihad war, and the evidence of 1,400 years of expansionary jihad violence, is in focus. What Hamas did on October 7 may be new to the West, but it has many historic antecedents. It is part of what jihad is. In the recent past, we saw it with the Islamic State; even now, Christians in Africa are experiencing a genocide at the hands of brutal jihadists. But now jihad has, once again, struck Israel, the only democracy in the Middle East.

The dangers of criminalising the anti-Israel bigots

Expanding the offence of ‘glorifying terrorism’ would threaten all of our free speech.

Many have been shocked by the unwillingness of London’s Metropolitan Police to intervene in the ongoing pro-Palestine demos, despite the hate that is so often spewed on them.

According to Met commissioner Mark Rowley, this is because protesters calling for ‘jihad’ or chanting ‘From the river to the sea’ (a coded call for the destruction of Israel) have not committed any crime. Neither chant amounts to the criminal offence of ‘glorifying terrorism’ – that is, to the direct encouragement of terrorist acts or support for a proscribed organisation, such as Hamas. If the UK government wants to tackle such speech, Rowley argues, our terror laws ‘may need redrawing’.

‘Israel spies’ executed and hung from pylon by cheering West Bank mob

Two men accused of spying for Israel were executed in the West Bank, with their bodies dragged through alleys before being hung from a pylon by a cheering mob.

The two men were shot dead in the West Bank city of Tulkarm on Friday by members of Palestinian armed groups.

A Palestinian journalist in the camp, speaking on condition of anonymity for fear of reprisals, said the men were beaten and stomped on by residents before being hung up from an electrical tower and then dumped in a skip.

The rise of stay-at-home girlfriends

Young women are crushed by financial nihilism

On a summer’s day, TikTok influencer Gwen The Milkmaid can be found frying up all-American comfort food dressed in a floral prairie dress. “I don’t want to be a boss babe. I want to be a frolicking mama. I want to spend my days baking bread, cuddling chickens, and drinking raw milk straight from the udder,” she writes in her TikTok caption. In another video, she smiles beatifically at her nearly 50,000 followers, giving the camera a view of her ample breasts as she bakes a fresh sourdough loaf.

Inside the UN Plan to Control Speech Online

The UN is escalating its war against ‘conspiracy theories’ and ‘misinformation’ by creating an ‘internet of trust.’

A powerful United Nations agency has unveiled a plan to regulate social media and online communication while cracking down on what it describes as “false information” and “conspiracy theories,” sparking alarm among free-speech advocates and top U.S. lawmakers.

In its 59-page report released this month, the U.N. Educational, Cultural, and Scientific Organization (UNESCO) outlined a series of “concrete measures which must be implemented by all stakeholders: governments, regulatory authorities, civil society, and the platforms themselves.”

A Black Friday for UAP Disclosure

Black Friday traditionally represents a chance for people to go hunting for discounts and deals as the holiday shopping season kicks off. But it took on a darker tone for those who have been hunting for government disclosure of its alleged secretive UFO (UAP) crash retrieval programs and other information about the phenomenon. As we discussed earlier this summer, Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer introduced a hefty and eye-opening amendment to the National Defense Authorization Act for 2024 that would mandate the declassification of most or all government UFO information and order the confiscation of any crash retrieval materials or non-human “biologicals” in the possession of non-government actors. But we learned yesterday from Christopher Sharp at Liberation Times (who anyone interested in the topic should be following) that powerful congressional leaders have been working to derail this effort. And the opposition is coming almost entirely from Republicans for some reason.
