In U.F.O. Files, Some Christians See Vexing Questions — and Demons

The dozen or so pastors and podcasters who arrived at the Airbnb in Nashville one night in February weren’t sure exactly what they were in for. An organizer asked them to turn their phones on airplane mode. Snacks were served. Then, for at least two hours, two mysterious men presented a slide show laying out the evidence, as they saw it, for some kind of extraterrestrial life and the spiritual confusion that coming revelations could sow among Christians.

“It was the weirdest meeting I’ve ever been a part of,” said Alan DiDio, a pastor in North Carolina who attended. “You’ve never seen that many Pentecostals in a room that quiet.”

US government releases UFO sighting reports – ‘Orbs swarming in all directions’

US government releases UFO sighting reports – ‘Orbs swarming in all directions’

The Pentagon released scores of UFO files on Friday with descriptions of reported sightings of orbs, discs and fireballs spanning 80 years.

Witnesses described seeing “green orbs, discs and fireballs” dating as far back as 1948, the files show. More recently, a senior US intelligence officer said he saw “countless orange orbs swarming in all directions” last year rendering him “speechless”.

The fresh batch of materials includes a half dozen documents, a handful of audio recordings and 51 videos, including one of an Unidentified Flying Object (UFO) being shot to bits. The circumstances are unexplained.

This one is interesting.

ET Still Works for the CIA

ET Still Works for the CIA

The Trump administration continues to release tranches of previously classified documents on unidentified anomalous phenomena (UAP), the preferred term that includes traditional sightings of UFOs.  “Traditional sightings” is a strange admission, don’t you think?  Aliens and UFOs have been part of our national conversation for eighty years, long enough to constitute a “tradition,” even though the public has few answers for the questions this “tradition” brings.

4 alien species have been pulled from crashed UFOs, ex-government researcher claims

4 alien species have been pulled from crashed UFOs, ex-government researcher claims

The US has recovered four distinct species of extraterrestrial life from crashed UFOs, a former CIA-funded government researcher sensationally claimed this week.

Dr. Hal Puthoff, former Advanced Aerospace Weapon System Applications Program advisor and CIA-funded researcher, made the claim alongside “Age of Disclosure” director Dan Farrah on Steve Bartlett’s “The Diary of a CEO” podcast on Thursday.

“People who have been involved in recoveries have said there are at least four types. Four separate types,” the 89-year-old said. “Now I have not had direct access to that but I believe the people who I talked to — four separate types of life.”

The UFO files reveal a hidden truth about American society

The UFO files reveal a hidden truth about American society

On May 8, Pentagon officials began releasing previously classified material related to unidentified flying objects. The UFO files may not prove the existence of extraterrestrial life. But their publication is nonetheless a significant event. By creating a government-sanctioned repository of content that can be consulted for the truth about unknown intelligence, the U.S. government has offered support and recognition to a new kind of religion: belief in UFOs.

UFO belief is not a religion in the traditional sense. There are no centralized leaders: no popes, no universally recognized doctrines, no sacred text and no institution capable of enforcing orthodoxy. Yet it increasingly performs many of the functions historically attributed to religion. It organizes communities of belief, creates narratives of revelation, offers cosmological meaning and establishes interpretive frameworks through which people understand mysterious experiences and humanity’s place in the universe.

Trump’s UFO files are victory for transparency

Trump’s UFO files are victory for transparency

The United States government has released its first batch of files on Unidentified Flying Objects (UFOs). These are objects that the Pentagon and the intelligence agencies cannot identify. If they are real and not spurious, there are two possible interpretations: either these are familiar human-made or natural objects, or these are non-human objects. Regardless, the matter is of great importance for both national security and basic science.

However, perhaps the biggest impact of this week’s release is psychological: this topic deserves a place in mainstream public discourse. Like any detective story, the mystery can be resolved with high-quality evidence. Knowing the distance, velocity and acceleration of these objects would address the question of whether any of them lies outside the performance envelope of human-made technologies.

The UFO community has been waiting for answers. Has the Pentagon delivered?

The UFO community has been waiting for answers. Has the Pentagon delivered?

One California grandmother has been waiting for answers since she was a child and her mother spotted a UFO hovering while she hung clothes out to dry. A therapist in Texas has been an “experiencer” since childhood. And another Lone Star resident, a 36-year-old musician, has been delving into the extraterrestrial world since he learned about an incident not far from his hometown.

All of them on Friday, like the rest of the “UFO community,” were waiting with bated breath for what was touted by the US government as a historic moment: The first release of never-before-seen files about unidentified anomalous phenomena, a trove of 162 documents including images, details and, enthusiasts hope, a step towards further transparency – and answers about what’s “out there”.

All the most shocking new UFO files photos and videos from Trump’s extraordinary release

The Trump administration’s explosive UFO files contained some of the most shocking documents of unidentified phenomena on Earth and in outer space to date.

Hundreds of previously unseen videos, photos and records tied to Unidentified Anomalous Phenomena (UAP) and Unidentified Flying Objects (UFOs) were published on Friday.

The Pentagon wrote on X that while past administrations sought to discredit or dissuade the American people, President Donald Trump ‘is focused on providing maximum transparency to the public, who can ultimately make up their own minds about the information contained in these files.’

Documenting Disclosure: Christian Pastors, Missing Scientists, and the New Language of Contact

Documenting Disclosure: Christian Pastors, Missing Scientists, and the New Language of Contact

A few people reached out to me on May 5th and shared this interview of David Grusch. David discussed my work (timestamp 34:00) and mentioned the work of my friend and colleague, Dr. Brett Robinson Associate Director for Outreach for the McGrath Institute for Church Life at Notre Dame. I wasn’t surprised by Grusch’s statements, which advocated a nuanced insight into aspects of nonhuman intelligence as it is related to UFOs (UAP). I’ve spoken with him over the last few years and we have associates and friends in common. I understand his position and what he wants to accomplish. I am grateful that he has been open, for a few years now, about the harassment he’s experienced by going public about the alleged “legacy program,” or the program that probably has been around for more than seventy years, if it exists. I inadvertently and unintentionally discovered its possible existence in my early research into this topic. Believe me when I state, before 2014, I had no idea this was a thing (i.e., crash retrieval programs associated with UFOs). Whether it exists or not, it is documented publicly in my books.

There’s a lot to absorb in this first limited info drop. I will be waiting for the response of those I find trustworthy on the matter.

The truth about NASA’s ‘GoFast’ UFO verdict exposed in secret internal emails

The truth about NASA’s ‘GoFast’ UFO verdict exposed in secret internal emails

One of the Pentagon’s most famous UFO videos is facing new scrutiny after secret NASA emails raised fresh questions about how it was analyzed.

The ‘GoFast’ encounter, recorded by Navy pilots tracking a fast-moving object off the Atlantic coast in 2015, was assessed by NASA as most likely showing an ordinary object drifting with the wind.

But newly released documents obtained by UFO researcher Grant Lavac through the Freedom of Information Act revealed that NASA’s 2023 review relied entirely on publicly available footage and did not include interviews with the Navy aviators who witnessed the encounter.

Pentagon accused of ‘cover-up’ after failing to release UFO videos by deadline

Pentagon accused of ‘cover-up’ after failing to release UFO videos by deadline

The US Pentagon has been slammed for missing a strict deadline to release Unidentified Anomalous Phenomena (UAP) videos, with critics calling it a ‘cover-up.’

Republican Rep. Anna Paulina Luna penned a letter to the US Secretary of Defense on April 1, ordering Pete Hegseth to deliver 46 specific clips no later than April 14, 2026.

Lawmakers said the videos could reveal patterns of activity near sensitive military sites and help determine whether the objects pose a potential national security threat.
