Pro-Hamas Groups Push Critical Race Theory, Socialism in US

LOS ANGELES—A California woman sobbed as she learned that her friend’s 19-year-old son was kidnapped by the Hamas terrorist group in Israel.

The next day, on Oct. 12, as news of pro-Palestinian “Day of Resistance” rallies spread across the United States, the woman, who’s of Jewish heritage and asked not to be identified for fear of reprisal, broke the tragic news: Her friend’s son had been killed by the terrorists.

Data Dive with Nik Nanos: How Canadians feel about the Israel-Hamas war

The war between Israel and Hamas is a major issue in Canada. The conflict has created tension across the country that is being felt in our communities. Politicians are feeling the pressure to say the “right” thing – and the right thing depends on how you feel about the war.

Canadians are worried. A new survey for CTV News by Nanos shows that seven in 10 Canadians are concerned (39 per cent) or somewhat concerned (30 per cent) that there will be an increase in hate-motivated incidents in our communities resulting from the conflict in the Middle East. Different generations of respondents are of one mind and consistent in their worry.

Martha’s Vineyard once again allowed to boot out the illegals that we commoners are not

The snobbery and pseudo-elitism that goes hand-in-hand with the elevated status of a Martha’s Vineyard leftist makes it easy to pity their position instead of envy it, with one exception: their ability to swiftly and decisively eject illegal invaders.

On Monday, agents from Boston’s Enforcement and Removal Office (ERO) apprehended and arrested a Brazilian national living in the elite enclave, because he was a “predator” whose presence was “threaten[ing] to residents.” You don’t say.

The humiliation of the Dutch establishment

The victory of Geert Wilders shows voters are desperate to hit back against the elites.

To say the victory of Geert Wilders in yesterday’s Dutch elections came as a shock might be the understatement of the century. Not even his aides in the PVV (Party for Freedom) were fully prepared for the earthquake to come. The tiny, cramped venue where it held its election party last night was booked just four days ago, after Wilders enjoyed a last-minute surge in the polls.

Ukrainian Marines Crossing the Dniepr River in an Echo of Epic World War II Struggle

With the world’s news cameras focused on Gaza, Ukrainian Marines are secretly crossing the half-mile wide waterway, ferrying men and ammo in inflatable rubber rafts and establishing beachheads on the opposite shore.

For generations of Soviets, “crossing the Dniepr” evokes the epic 1943 battle that pitted three million Soviet soldiers against one million Nazi defenders. As memorialized in monuments and murals, Soviet soldiers used small boats, rafts, and logs to cross a river as wide as the Mississippi. By the end of a four month long amphibious assault, more than one million Soviet soldiers were killed, wounded, or missing. However, by surmounting Ukraine’s water wall, they broke the back of Nazi power in Eastern Europe.

Pope Francis’ Silence on Hamas Nazis

Islam’s atrocities don’t fit his narrative.

Pope Francis, terminally naïve about Islam, believes he has a true understanding of the faith based partly on the reassurances given him by his new friend, the Grand Imam of Al-Azhar, Sheikh Ahmed al-Tayeb. “War is deceit,” says Muhammad in a famous hadith, and Al-Tayeb has been cheerfully deceiving the Pope every chance he gets. Pope Francis has learned a lot from Al-Tayeb. He insists in his new book, Non Sei Solo: Sfide, Risposte, Speranze (You Are Not Alone: Challenges, Answers, Hopes), that “either you are a terrorist or you are a Muslim.” A “true” Muslim, he thinks, cannot be a terrorist. No one has pointed out to the Pope that Muhammad himself says in another hadith that “I have been made victorious through terror.” (Bukhari 4:52.220) And Muhammad is the Perfect Man and the Model of Conduct, whose behavior is to be emulated by Muslims.

Director of Shifa Hospital is arrested by the IDF who say ‘extensive Hamas terrorist activity’ has taken place there during his time in charge

The director of Gaza’s largest hospital has been arrested by Israeli soldiers who say ‘extensive Hamas terrorist activity’ has taken place at the medical facility during his time in charge.

The Israeli army raided the hospital last week amid claims Hamas terrorists used a tunnel complex beneath the medical centre as a headquarters.

Dublin riots: Violent clashes with gardaí, vehicles set alight and looting following stabbing

Garda Commissioner says ‘lunatic, hooligan faction driven by far-right ideology’ behind violence; shops being looted and public transport services suspended

Dublin stabbing: how the chaos unfolded on Parnell Square

Shortly after 1.40pm on Thursday, journalists covering the Stardust inquests were filing lunchtime copy in the Pillar Room of the Rotunda hospital, where inquests have been under way since April. Deirdre Dames, a survivor of the 1981 fire rushed in, alerting us that someone was “after stabbing kids out there”.

RTÉ’s Conor Hunt and I, along with several others, followed her out to Parnell Square East where there were already four or five ambulances, several Dublin Fire Brigade appliances manned by paramedics and several Garda cars, as sirens blared as more arrived.

More than half of Edmonton’s $60-million electric bus fleet not roadworthy

Electric Bus Proterra Philadelphia

A more than $60-million “transformational” effort to move to electric buses in Edmonton is stalled at the curb.

Just six per cent of the Edmonton Transit System’s 1,000-bus fleet are electric buses, but those are very squeaky wheels.

Three-quarters of the city’s 60-bus electric fleet is in the garage with poor immediate prospects for parts to fix them.

Reem: The refugee child who conquered the Germans and became an anti-Semite

The little refugee girl Reem became an anti-Semite – and a German citizen

Reem is a symbol of today’s Europe. Embraced by Merkel as a poor refugee child, today her posts show a map without Israel.

The mayor of Saint Gilles, Belgium, one Jean Spinette (a serious Socialist), wants to change the name of Saint Nicolas to “Sidi Nicolas”. “Sidi”, in Arabic, means “my Lord”. Elsewhere “Saint Nicholas” or “Santa Claus” is linked to Christmas Day. But in Belgium the bearded “saint” has a day all to himself: December 6, when “the great friend of children” distributes gifts.

And given that the city of Brussels’ region has chosen a representative of the Muslim Brotherhood for its candidacy as “European capital of culture” in 2030, the future masters of Belgium could change the name of dozens of cities starting with Saint-Gilles, continuing with Saint-Josse, Molenbeek-Saint-Jean, Jette-Saint-Pierre and Saint-Job, finishing with the metro stations (Sainte-Catherine, Saint-Guidon).

Ortis was ‘on the cusp’ of passing state secrets to foreign entity at time of arrest, Crown alleged

Cameron Ortis, convicted by a jury Wednesday of violating Canada’s secrets act, was arrested when he was “on the cusp” of passing state secrets to a foreign entity, a Crown prosecutor alleged during the former RCMP official’s bail hearing in 2019.

When RCMP officers raided Cameron Ortis’s condo in late August 2019, they were hunting for clues related to leaks of internal police documents to criminal groups.

Their investigation took a quick turn into the murky world of international espionage when they analyzed electronic equipment and documents seized at the residence of the national police force’s top intelligence analyst.

Dear Justin Trudeau, rampant antisemitism on your watch is shameful

Open letter to the Right Hon. Justin Trudeau,

As one of your earliest supporters, I am dismayed by the deep divisions and disunity across the country and now within the Liberal party itself.

My late father and the Grafstein cousinhood have all been lifelong Liberals. My cousin Robert Kaplan was solicitor general in your father’s cabinet. He led the opening of the Second World War criminal dossiers. My cousin Phil Givens, after being mayor of Toronto, also served in your father’s Liberal caucus. I was appointed by your father to the Senate where I served 26 years representing Metro Toronto.
