But introduce the Anglo-Saxons, the civilisation-forming population that gave England (and, consequently, much of the world) its language, law, and cultural and political seedbeds, and just watch the institutional mood darken. Cambridge and Nottingham Universities are just the latest to have found the very phrase ’Anglo-Saxon’ sticking in their institutional throats.

How the ‘decolonisation’ movement betrays black history

In 1947, as the British Empire was starting to unravel, Obafemi Awolowo, one of Nigeria’s foremost independence leaders, wrote:

‘The conquest of one nation by another in an unprovoked act of aggression cannot be justified by any standard of morality… Nevertheless, it would be harsh to condemn Britain today because of her actions in the 19th century. Every nation or tribe, at one time or other, has been guilty of wanton aggression… We must not allow present grievances to blind us to the virtues of the empire.’

Two decades later, with Nigeria independent, Chinua Achebe – whose novels laid bare the wreckage of colonial rule – told an interviewer: ‘I am not one of those who would say that Africa has gained nothing at all during the colonial period… This is ridiculous – we gained a lot.’

Critical Race Theory Deserves to be labeled as ‘hate speech’

According to the Critical Race Theory, one sole race is targeted as “oppressor,” while another is “oppressed.” It falsely and negligently paints good and evil as relating only to black and white races. It slanderously and racistly describes the entire white race as “oppressors” and the entire black race as “oppressed.” Such fabrications and mendacities deserve to be labeled “hate speech.” There has been pushback on this theory, but not enough nor as publicly as it deserves.

Tory MPs denounce DEI and ‘Liberal racism’ during Jamil Jivani event

OTTAWA — On a Tuesday night, on the eighth floor of a building bordering Ottawa’s Parliamentary Precinct, Conservative MP Jamil Jivani stood before a small crowd to denounce “Liberal racism” — a form of “discrimination” he believes is eroding meritocracy, eradicating diversity of thought and tearing Canadians apart.

About 50 people filled the nondescript room, where bottles of Bud Light — a beer branded “woke” by the right in 2023 after partnering with a transgender influencer — were cheekily on offer for attendees.

Met Police racism report is a capitulation to activists

The Metropolitan Police yesterday published an independent report by Dr Shereen Daniels, “commissioned by the service to examine how the organisation has responded to long-standing evidence of racism and discrimination”. It concludes that the Met is, in fact, systemically racist. What it really reveals, however, is that too many in senior policing roles really have lost the plot.

Using public funds to hire a racial justice activist to write a report about racism is bad enough, but the Met’s own press release skirts the bounds of honesty and integrity when it describes the review as “independent”. Commissioning an activist who makes a living from seeing racism everywhere was always going to end up with a thesis dripping in divisive critical race theory.

In the April 2025 federal election, the New Democratic Party was nearly wiped from the Canadian electoral map. The NDP was reduced to seven parliamentary seats, five short of the 12 needed to gain official party status. NDP leader Jagmeet Singh, one of the worst politicians in recent memory, lost his own seat. The once-proud standard-bearer of Canadian Leftism was reduced to a mere 6 percent of the popular vote.

Permit revoked for MAGA musician’s concert at Parks Canada site, but show will go on

Parks Canada says a U.S. singer and rising star in the MAGA movement will not perform at a national historic site near Halifax after the federal agency revoked the organizer’s permit, but the show is slated to go on at a new venue.

Christian rocker Sean Feucht was scheduled to play a concert on Wednesday night at the York Redoubt National Historic Site, a fortification constructed in 1793 to help protect the port city.

Feucht, who unsuccessfully ran for U.S. Congress as a Republican in 2020, is also a missionary and an author who has spoken out against the 2SLGBTQ+ community, abortion rights and critical race theory on his website.

Only the far left extremists of the CBC could write this with a straight face.

Donald Trump couldn’t be clearer. He intends to abolish the Department of Education. He stated during the election campaign that “one thing I’ll be doing very early in the administration is closing up the Department of Education in Washington, DC, and sending all education … back to the states”.

Some are wondering why he would bother. Created 45 years ago in the dying days of Jimmy Carter’s administration, the Department is one of the smaller Cabinet-level federal agencies. With a mere four and half thousand employees, abolishing it will hardly drain the Washington swamp.

A key advisor in the Labour mission to make Wales “anti-racist” has claimed that racism is when “white people hold negative views” of other ethnicities.

The devolved government has pledged to make Wales anti-racist by 2030, and museums are now obliged to present the “right historic narrative” in their displays.

Taxpayer’s money will fund work which ensures the mandated narrative, and cash has gone to the “Re:Collections” project, which takes a leading role in this work by instructing Welsh museums on how to become “anti-racist organisations”.

Israel, Churchill and why we’re still obsessed with WW II

“… Post-War liberalism unilaterally disarmed Europe of the right to exercise an in-group preference for respective countries’ cultures, histories, and peoples. It compelled us to treat everyone with the false anthropology of the Blank Slate: as if all cultural, geographical, and biological differences are inconsequential, and easily remedied by technocrats turning the dials of education and economic opportunity. Liberalism is recalcitrant to recognise how involuntary factors — like ethnic and cultural heritage — may influence one’s likelihood of buying into a civilization’s story. It has, paradoxically, placed upon Europe the burden of unique, non-expungable guilt for past atrocities, thinning out its history to a list of grievances requiring recompense. Such optimism is the furthest thing from Nazi racial determinism; but sacrifices the ability to stake a claim in any one conception of the good. Liberalism is, as James Burnham said, “the ideology of Western suicide”.

This is a long and at times dense read but worth your while as it touches on the ills of multiculturalism, mass immigration, minority grievance culture, cultural relativism and all the other crap that has turned western nations into borderline 3rd world shitholes.

On Saturday, a self-proclaimed journalist named Samira Mohyeddin posted on X that “tens of thousands” of people were marching in Toronto to mark the one-year anniversary of “Israel’s relentless bombardment and genocide” in Gaza. The new journalism fellow at the University of Toronto’s Women and Gender Studies Institute, and former producer of CBC’s The Current, made no mention of what had prompted the “relentless bombardment.”

I can’t presume to speak to Mohyeddin’s personal politics, but her post reflects the view held by a distressingly large number of young Canadians who have formed an unholy alliance with Palestinian activists.

America’s Young Men Are Falling Even Further Behind

Men in their 20s and early 30s are much more likely than female peers to live with their parents, and many say they feel aimless and isolated

In Spanish, parents call it encaminado: making sure your children are on the path to an independent adulthood.

Out of Dan and Joana Moreno’s four grown kids, only their daughter is encaminada. She recently graduated from business school and got engaged. The Morenos’ three adult sons are still sleeping in their Miami childhood bedrooms. The younger two dropped out of college, and the oldest never went. All three are single. Their only work experience is with the family business.

“Something has gone amiss here,” says their father, Dan, who owns the repair chain Flamingo Appliance Service. “We love them, we love having them around, but that’s not how you build a life.”
The life trajectories of America’s sons and daughters are diverging.

Presented with a more-equal playing field, young women are seizing the opportunities in front of them, while young men are floundering. The phenomenon has developed over the past decade, but was supercharged by the pandemic, which derailed careers, schooling and isolated friends and families. The result has big implications for the economy.

It’s a mystery!

What do you see here?

I see the hands of foreign interference at work.

I also see the inevitable result of identity politics and a deliberately destructive immigration policy.

Canada is being reduced to warring factions within a balkanized society where foreign tribes have been encouraged to import their ethnic and religious conflicts.

Multiculturalism and diversity has taught them to reject integration with Canadian society.

Each tribe is provided official government victim status and encouraged to commit violence to assert that claim.

One tribe is never allowed to speak out though.

Canada and Canadians be damned is the motto of our ruling class.
