Can we trust Hamas’s death toll figures? The propaganda war analysed

The explosion at the al-Ahli Arab Hospital on October 17 was a vivid illustration of Hamas’s ability to wage a propaganda war.

The claims made that night by Gaza’s health ministry, which is run by Hamas, highlighted the power of social media to influence global opinion about the conflict in the Middle East.

The health ministry claimed that the explosion had been caused by an Israeli airstrike and that hundreds of people sheltering in the hospital courtyard had died in the blast and ensuing fire.

Jewish houses are being targeted in a “frightening” campaign on university campuses, The Telegraph has learnt.

Students fear for their safety amid a 400 per cent spike in anti-Semitism.

It comes as some student unions and lecturers appear to have failed to condemn Hamas, a proscribed terror group, since the war on Israel began.

It has now emerged that Jewish chaplains’ houses, designed to be a safe space for students to come and go, have been targeted at two universities.

GOLDSTEIN: Electric vehicles subsidies costly and ineffective, says study

Our federal and provincial governments know that subsidizing electric vehicle sales is a notoriously expensive and inefficient way of reducing industrial greenhouse gas emissions, so why do they keep doing them?

A new report by the fiscally-conservative Fraser Institute released Tuesday says the $5,000 federal government subsidy to consumers who buy eligible EV vehicles results in a cost to all Canadians of $355 to lower one tonne of emissions.

France: Veiled woman screaming Allahu Akbar shot by Paris police after ‘making bomb threats’

A veiled woman was shot and critically wounded by police in a Paris underground station after she threatened to detonate explosives.

Police cordoned off the Bibliothèque François-Mitterrand Metro station on the left bank after the incident at 9am, which began when the woman started screaming at passengers while travelling on a train further up the line, officers said.

After passengers called police, officers confronted the woman — who was dressed with full face-covering veil and long robe — in the station.

From Le Parisian – According to the first elements, this woman shouted “Allah akbar”, claiming that “everything was going to explode”. “She started making worrying comments on a train, a few stations before arriving at the François-Mitterrand Library, according to witnesses,” confides a source close to the case.

Hamas Supporter tortures defenceless mice, paints them then dumps them on floor of McDonald’s

Muslim tortures mice to please fucked up Murder cult idol

Dozens of mice dyed in red, green and black colours shown in TikTok video being released in front of shocked restaurant customers

Video circulating on social media shows a man with a Palestinian flag wrapped around his head pulling up outside a fast food branch in Star City in Birmingham on Monday before grabbing the box of rodents from the vehicle’s boot.

The camera then follows the man as he walks past children outside the restaurant before entering and throwing dozens of mice on the floor, causing those inside to jump back in apparent shock.

He then calmly leaves before shouts of “Free f—— Palestine” and “F— Israel” can be heard.

I guess Hamas supporters just naturally believe that torturing animals will win them hearts and minds. Who let these sick bastards into the west?

John Robson: When the Polls Are So Bad That the ‘Burning Earth’ Carbon Tax Excuse Takes a Back Seat

The global boiling climate breakdown age of fire is so serious that no price is too high to pay to stop it. Except Liberal parliamentary seats in Atlantic Canada in our gravely unserious nation.

Thus we awoke recently to snow in the backyard. No wait, to news that the federal carbon tax on home heating oil will be suspended for three years because the urgent man-made climate crisis isn’t really that serious after all. Or their magnificent policies won’t actually help anyway. Or Liberal polling numbers are looking so grim that the burning Earth must wait.

Anger as Met police officers pull down posters of Hamas hostages

Police have been criticised after officers removed posters of missing Israelis from a shop in north London over fears of an “escalation” of tensions within the community.

The Metropolitan Police said it received calls from residents after the posters were placed on a business’s shutters late on Saturday evening.

According to reports, the posters were placed on a chemist in Edgware after some employees posted anti-Israel statements on social media, which have since been taken down. A staff member has since posted a message on social media apologising for the posts.

De-escalate tensions? Bullshit. They’re just afraid of the Muslims.

UK Considers Raising Terrorism Threat

Ministers are holding an official emergency (“COBRA”) meeting this evening on the Israel-Hamas conflict—their first on any possible terror threat.

This comes after Sir Mark Rowley, commissioner of London’s Metropolitan Police, which is seeking clarification over its policing of extreme language, warned that the terrorism threat in Britain is being “accelerated” by the Middle East conflict. He said the country was facing a “particularly challenging time” which could see extremists at home motivated by fighting abroad.
