Cardi B gets compared to infamous lip-syncers Milli Vanilli after her backing track kept playing following Las Vegas mic toss

Cardi B faced comparisons to Milli Vanilli in the wake of her set at Drai’s Beachclub in Las Vegas on Saturday, as her music continued to play after she was involved in a confrontation with an audience member who threw liquid at her while she was performing.

I’m of an age when it is expected to lament the lack of talent in ‘young people’s music’ but today’s dreck is beyond redemption.

Canadian Pastor Convicted of Inciting Mischief in Trucker Protests Facing Up to 10 Years Prison

Pastor Artur Pawlowski’s troubles with the Canadian authorities began long before his sermon to commercial truckers encouraging their peaceful defiance against what he thought were “oppressive” public health mandates for COVID-19.

In 2005, he began serving and ministering to downtown Calgary—Alberta’s poor and downtrodden. “In other words, feeding the homeless and praying for them, which is now illegal,” he described to The Epoch Times in a telephone interview while under house arrest in Calgary following his court conviction in May for inciting mischief and violating his release conditions.

Klaus Schwab’s Daughter: Covid Was Precursor to Coming ‘Climate Lockdowns’

The daughter of World Economic Forum (WEF) founder Klaus Schwab has declared that tyrannical restrictions during the Covid pandemic served as a precursor to coming “climate lockdowns.”

According to Nicole Schwab, Covid was a “tremendous opportunity” to test how the public would comply with authoritarian measures that could be used to usher in the WEF’s “Great Reset” agenda.

The WEF’s promotion of the “climate crisis” narrative seeks to “create a change that is not incremental…to position nature at the core of the economy,” according to the younger Schwab.

Howard Levitt: Employee’s DEI experience a cautionary tale for companies on perils of wokeism

Two related stories hit my desk this week, both about the perils of wokeism and increasing backlash against diversity, equity and inclusion (DEI).

The first, from the Wall Street Journal, chronicled the fall of chief diversity officers, job listings for which plummeted 75 per cent in the United States in the past year. As the article noted: “… DEI jobs were put in the crosshairs after many companies started re-examining their executive ranks during the tech sector’s shake out last fall. DEI work has also become a political target.”

Roland Friesler would be proud.

Trans activist Dana Rivers – who murdered lesbian couple and their 19-year-old son in hate crime – is ‘preying on inmates’ at women’s prison in California

A transgender triple murderer controversially housed in a women’s prison has been accused of ‘preying on inmates’ while bragging about receiving ‘special treatment’ due to California’s woke incarceration policies.

Dana Rivers, 68, who previously went by David Chester Warfield before transitioning to female, brutally shot and stabbed lesbian couple Charlotte Reed and Patricia Wright, before turning the gun on their 19-year-old adopted son Benny Diambu-Wright in November 2016.

At her sentencing last month, judge Scott Patton said the killings were ‘the most depraved crime I ever handled in the criminal justice system in 33 years’.

Edmonton Maze Issues Apology After Getting Pressured for Celebrating RCMP

EDMONTON—The Edmonton Corn Maze, an attraction southwest of Edmonton, apologized for its Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP)-themed maze for this year’s season after saying it received complaints about its choice of that theme, then later deleted the apology following criticism.

The farm activities venue, which is open for visitors in summer and fall, unveiled the new design on Facebook on July 25, stating it had partnered with the Alberta RCMP for this year’s maze.

Denmark studying ‘legal’ options to implement Sharia law & stop Quran burnings

Violent Muslims in Denmark – every western nation has had enough of this shit on their streets

The Danish government is looking into “a legal tool” that would enable authorities to prevent protesters outside embassies from burning the Muslim holy book, the Quran, in the Nordic country.

Danish Foreign Minister Lars Lokke Rasmussen told the national broadcaster DR on Sunday that the government was studying the scope for intervention to prevent such acts.

The news comes as many Muslim countries have protested the desecration of the Quran at demonstrations held in Denmark and Sweden in recent weeks.

It always makes sense to give in to a mob.

Future of RCMP in B.C. and Canada is the next question

VICTORIA — B.C.’s Public Safety Minister Mike Farnworth tried hard to create the impression Wednesday that the long-running debate over policing services in Surrey had reached the end of the line.

“This decision is the final decision,” he told reporters in Victoria.

He had given Surrey two chances to make the case for going back to the RCMP.

Both times the city “failed” to persuade him.

The Hunter Biden Deal Reveals Our Miserably Corrupt Democratic Ruling Class

The word “enormity” is oft misused in modern conversation. The term properly refers not to something large – that is modern English usage confusing it with the word “enormous” – but rather to a truly shocking act of moral irregularity or turpitude. Even a minor act can potentially be an enormity, depending on what it represents.

The Ukraine war is about to get worse

Collapsed grain and gas deals spell disaster for Europe

Amid the never-ending coverage of the latest offensive or counteroffensive in Ukraine, it is often unappreciated just how much worse the global economic repercussions from the conflict could have been. Russia is the world’s leading exporter of gas and provided around 50% of the EU’s demand before the war; Ukraine, meanwhile, is a major exporter of grain, alongside Russia itself. The complete disruption of either of these channels would have resulted in catastrophe.

At last, (some of) the MSM are listening to Migration Watch

LAST week Migration Watch sent out an email to their followers titled: ‘Are asylum lawyers a law unto themselves? How many shysters are there among them?’

They were commenting on groundbreaking (for the mainstream media) investigative journalism by the Daily Mail which confirmed what many of us have suspected, that dodgy (in fact, criminal) lawyers have been offering to invent back-stories for their illegal immigrant clients to secure asylum for them. Staff at solicitors’ firms readily agreed to help an undercover reporter posing as an economic migrant who’d arrived on a small boat, to get refugee status. This was despite being told he had no legitimate reason to stay in the UK.

Channel Island Nazis inquiry under pressure to find out why perpetrators never faced justice

The official inquiry into Nazi atrocities committed on Alderney in the Channel Islands is under pressure to investigate why those responsible for committing war crimes on British soil were never brought to trial in the UK.

Prof Anthony Glees, the security and intelligence expert who advised Margaret Thatcher’s war crimes inquiry, told the Observer: “This is a vital opportunity to establish all the facts, and it must examine why those who perpetrated such heinous war crimes were never brought to trial in this country. The review into the atrocities on Alderney is to be warmly welcomed, but I believe it should not just focus on the numbers killed, as important as that is.”

What does Japan think of Oppenheimer?

Christopher Nolan’s blockbuster epic Oppenheimer is wowing critics and selling out cinemas across the world. It’s already threatening to eclipse the disappointing Indiana Jones remake and even Tom Cruise’s raved about latest installment of the Mission Impossible series. But it’s a worldwide hit with one notable exception: the film hasn’t been released in Japan yet, and no word has been given of when it will be. Some are speculating that there may be no Japanese release at all.
