Trudeau faces fury of Canadian MPs over alleged Chinese election meddling

Justin Trudeau is under mounting pressure to explain how seriously his government has responded to the threat of Chinese interference in Canadian elections in the wake of damning intelligence leaks.

Allegations that the prime minister’s government has failed to act on meddling efforts featured prominently in a raucous session of parliament on Wednesday, as concern over Beijing’s efforts to undermine Canadian elections continues to dominate the country’s politics.

Fewer Americans Are Going to College — Is This Bad News?

After decades of growth, college enrollments have been falling over the past ten years. A recent AP story says that young Americans are “jaded with education” and are therefore “skipping college.”

For 17 years, I’ve been arguing that higher education is oversold in the U.S. — that because of government subsidies, far more people have been enrolling than otherwise would. Many academically disengaged individuals end up in college more for fun than for any desire for learning. If they graduate, they often wind up in jobs that they could have done while still in high school.

Nuclear Base Focuses on Diversity, Fails Nuclear Inspections

You can’t nuke China unless you have diversity at a base in North Dakota.

Every July, Minot Air Force Base, the only one to contain two ‘legs’ of the nuclear triad, celebrates ‘Diversity Day’. Held at the Jimmy Doolittle Center, named after the hard-charging Air Force pioneer who led the first air raid into Japan after Pearl Harbor, Diversity Day showcases “many different cultures along with other diversities such as religion and disabilities” representing the various cultures at Minot Air Force Base.” Jimmy would not approve.

A culture notably absent from the Diversity Day festivities at Minot is a culture of competence.

Race-Based Hatred Permeates the Black Population

… Thanks to Obama and the media’s incessant drumbeat that so-called “white supremacy” is a major threat to minorities, in particular Blacks, a Washington Post poll in May of 2022 revealed that three quarters of Blacks are worried that they or someone they love will be attacked by a white person — while the reality is that Blacks perpetrate the vast majority of interracial crime.  And nearly as many, 70 percent, believe that half or more of all White people “hold white supremacist beliefs.”

Treason of the Science Journals

How Anthony Fauci manufactured consensus on the origins of COVID-19 with the help of science writers and the media

At the government level, pandemic preparedness is as much about protecting critical supply chains as it is about administering medical treatments. What the COVID-19 pandemic showed is that the flow of information, which may be the single most vital resource in the supply chain, is utterly broken. In many cases, it was actively undermined by senior public health officials including the former chief medical adviser to the president, Dr. Anthony Fauci.

Mexico now says Gulf Cartel’s kidnap of The Tummy Tuck Four ‘could be directly linked to drug trafficking’

Mexican law enforcement agents are investigating the possibility that members of a drug cartel kidnapped four Americans last Friday thinking that they were encroaching on their turf, according to an internal government document seen by Reuters.

DailyMail.com revealed lengthy rap sheets for the four kidnapped U.S. citizens with authorities stating ‘drug trafficking’ cannot be ‘ruled out.’

Boy am I shocked.

True Finns, Most Popular Party With Young Voters

… This follows a bigger political trend across Europe, as young people increasingly turn to nationalist and conservative solutions to the problems caused by mass immigration, and the value of law and order. Last autumn in neighbouring Sweden, the national-conservative Sweden Democrats became the second biggest party, notably doubling their support among voters aged 18 to 21. It also mirrors similar trends in France and Hungary.

Wife of Future King Dons Hijab to Visit London Muslim Centre

The Princess of Wales and her husband William, the future King and elder brother of the troubled Prince Harry, visited a Muslim Centre in London on Thursday, with the princess donning an Islamic hijab for the occasion.

The monarchy cannot last beyond Kate & William, abandoning your own people to appease invaders is not a good look.

The ingrate should be deported.

The ghost of Ancient Rome haunts America

Its great cities are on the path to decay

The death of Ancient Rome wasn’t so much a collapse as a slow, interminable decay: between the second and sixth centuries AD, its population declined from a million people to just 30,000. Since then, 15 centuries have passed and thousands of cities have been built. And yet, as Rome’s greatest chronicler Edward Gibbon warned in 1776, a similar fate awaits our modern metropolises. This time, however, their decline will radically alter our perception of what “urbanism” really means.

Worth a read. This is what we are seeing in Toronto. Our cities have become ungovernable, virtually unfixable wastelands.

Jesse Kline: Justin Trudeau rejects Canadian patriotism

At this point, it seems mighty clear that, despite the denials, cabinet was well aware that numerous intelligence reports had uncovered evidence of China interfering in successive Canadian elections well before the story was made public in November. It doesn’t really matter whether Prime Minister Justin Trudeau bothered to read the reports, as he is ultimately responsible for his government and, as far as anyone can tell, Ottawa did nothing to counter this direct threat to Canadian democracy.

Trudeau should be dipped in a barrel of excrement every morning.

Rodney Clifton: Can We at Least Debate the Claim That Children Were Buried in Residential School Yards?

On Jan. 31, Dr. Michael Mahon, president of the University of Lethbridge, cancelled a talk that Dr. Frances Widdowson was scheduled to present. Like all scholars, Dr. Widdowson has nuanced views on many issues, and she was going to speak on “How Wok-ism Threatens Academic Freedom.”

Even though President Mahon had not listened to her argument, he nevertheless explained why he cancelled the talk: “We are committed to the calls to action of the Truth and Reconciliation Commission (TRC) of Canada. It is clear that the harm associated with this talk is an impediment to meaningful reconciliation.”
