For decades the liberal press, including the New York Times, used the Federal Bureau of Investigation as a symbol of the fears of oppressive government surveillance, investigating allegations that the agency surveilled civil rights leaders and radical anti-war groups during the Vietnam War. The Times hyped myriad other civil liberties concerns regarding the “sullied agency.”

In this millennium, the Times condemned FBI tactics, post 9-11 and during the Iraq War, including the surveillance of Muslims, which sowed “anger and fear.”

Times Square idiot convert ‘jihadi’, 19, was arrested with chilling manifesto

The alleged Islamic extremist who stabbed a rookie NYPD cop with a machete near Times Square on New Year’s Eve and was on an FBI ‘watchlist’ wrote a chilling manifesto where he urged his family to ‘repent to Allah.’

Trevor Bickford, 19, from Wells, Maine, who officials believe became radicalized and vowed to fight in Afghanistan, addressed a letter to his family where he urged his loved ones to convert so they ‘may be taken out of the hellfire.’

According to police sources who spoke with one outlet, the Maine resident had a handwritten note and collection of religious materials in his backpack while visiting Manhattan to carry out the attack.

The family of Benedict Cumberbatch could be forced to pay reparations for slavery after it was revealed he has familial ties to a sugar plantation in Barbados.

The Caribbean nation, which became a republic in 2021, is looking for reparations from the families of past slave owners and Cumberbatch could find himself in a legal battle over his ancestors owning a plantation in the 18th and 19th century.

Justice Centre’s John Carpay Arrested, Released on Bail

John Carpay, president of the Justice Centre for Constitutional Freedoms, was arrested over charges he hired a private investigator to follow a Manitoba judge involved in a COVID-19 public health order case.

In a statement issued on Jan. 1, the Justice Centre said Carpay was made aware of the charges on Dec. 30, and turned himself in to police. He was released on bail after spending 23 hours in detention, the statement said.

Fashion was execrable, and American cars sucked. Our closest ally, Great Britain, was wracked by strikes that paralyzed the country, and that seemed to be our future.

Poilievre didn’t go far enough in denouncing anti-Trudeau flags: political scientist

Federal Conservative Leader Pierre Poilievre needed to be firmer in denouncing rhetoric and flags criticizing the prime minister, according to an Alberta political scientist.

During an end-of-year news conference on Friday, Dec. 30, Poilievre said he didn’t like the expletive-laden flags some Canadians are using to insult Prime Minister Justin Trudeau.

“I don’t like the flags, and I don’t like rage,” Poilievre said. “But I think we have to ask ourselves: ‘Why are people so angry?’ And the answer is that they’re hurting.

Convoy organizer says plans to stage a 2023 protest in Winnipeg are off

OTTAWA – Freedom Convoy 2.0 appears to be a bust.

Canada Unity, one of the anti-government protest groups behind the protests that headlined much of last year, is calling off its plans to restage the event this February.

Canada Unity founder James Bauder initially planned to bring a four-day blockade to Ottawa but then said it would be moved to Winnipeg.

Boxing is right to stop men fighting women

I hate the fact that I felt a major sense of relief when I saw the news that the World Boxing Council (WBC) has rejected calls from trans-activists to allow male bodied people to compete against females. Rather, they are recommending that a special transgender category is set up, and further, that only male born people can compete with other men.

In other words, men that identify as women cannot get in the ring with actual women and beat them half to death, all in the name of sport.

Accused Idaho University murderer Bryan Kohberger ‘never slept’

PULLMAN, Wash. — Bryan Kohberger’s downstairs neighbor said the alleged quadruple slayer “never slept” — and looked too weak to kill.

The neighbor, who asked to remain anonymous, told The Post Sunday that Kohberger usually kept to himself but could always be heard at odd hours.

“He’s normally a very late night person, going to the bathroom and vacuuming at 1 or 12 in the morning,” she said “I have kids, so sometimes I thought of speaking to him or complaining, but never did.

French Foreign Minister Catherine Colonna told Joly the so-called “Freedom Convoy” bore a strong resemblance to protests being seen in her own country. The foreign ministers from Britain and New Zealand said the same thing.
