Chicago: Moments after 2 armed robberies in Wicker Park, CPD boss orders cops to stop following men wanted for over a dozen hold-ups

An armed robbery crew that has struck repeatedly in Wicker Park and Avondale returned to the area to commit two more daylight robberies on Friday morning. Chicago police spotted the offenders as they fled from the second robbery scene, but a CPD supervisor ordered units not to follow the car onto the expressway. So, the armed men, wanted for more than a dozen armed and sometimes violent robberies, remain at large to commit more crimes.

The anonymous Techno Fog, an self-described lawyer and writer who has nearly 400,000 followers on Twitter and also writes a popular Substack column, says a recent response to a Freedom of Information Act request indicates the beleaguered bureau may be hiding something. Techno Fog sought all records relating to any interviews the FBI had done with Epstein.

It’s an untidy, uncomfortable aspect of alliance politics that was acknowledged publicly on Friday by the secretary general of NATO.

“Some allies are now raising the issue of whether these stocks are depleted too much,” Jens Stoltenberg said after his meeting in Brussels with U.S. Secretary of State Antony Blinken.

Punjab Police busts ISI-backed narco-terror-module operating from PAK, Canada

Punjab Police on Thursday busted an ISI-backed terror module jointly handled by a Canada-based gangster Lakhir Singh alias Landa and Pakistan-based terrorist Harvinder Singh Rinda.

The Punjab Police has arrested their three close-aides, besides, identifying at least another 25 accomplices who were aiding them in carrying out illegal activities across Punjab and adjoining states, said Director General of Police (DGP) Punjab Gaurav Yadav here on Thursday.

The word as well as the practice is a lost commodity these days, and has in so many ways been usurped by its polar opposite, vulgarity. Vulgarity is often the premise of fame, indeed how it’s purchased for many, and it has become a tidal force in all areas of public life. Should I begin to tabulate examples there would be no end. From television to fashion to business to universities to politics crude and vulgar rules, and that decayed ideal of dignity, dignity of person and conduct, save for the high example of Elizabeth II — is a ghost presence.

Killer on ‘jihad’ murder spree in King County gets 93-year sentence

KING COUNTY, Wash. — A man convicted of murdering three people in King County and one in New Jersey was sentenced in court on Friday to 93 years in prison.

That’s on top of a life sentence that Ali Muhammad Brown is already serving for fatally shooting a young man in New Jersey.

It’s been eight years since the 2014 murders that Brown self-described as a “jihad” killing spree.

Hamilton man arrested for enrichment of our strength

22-year-old man arrested for hate crime after incident that targeted Jewish community in Hamilton

Police said a man broke into a residence in the area of Haddon Avenue South and Main Street West early Tuesday morning.

They did not specify what the man did after breaking into the home but said he targeted members of the Jewish community, and it is now being investigated as a hate crime.

On Friday, police identified the suspect as Yonis Mohamed of Hamilton. He has been charged with break an enter – commit and disobey court order.

There must be some mistake! Is there a shortage of white supremacists?
