The Maduro Defenders Come Out

The woke left and woke right are coming out in force to defend Nicholas Maduro and to attack Donald Trump for his operation to arrest him and bring him to the United States.

There is still much to learn about the operation, but by all accounts, it was one of the most audacious and successful operations in memory. Venezuela was warned ahead of time that the US intended to depose Maduro, and there has been a massive military buildup over the past several months. Russia and China have been sending weapons and advisors, yet despite all the help of our adversaries and prior warning, the US went in, captured Maduro, and left with hardly a scratch.

Will the City of Toronto suffer economic and social collapse in the near future owing to white flight and the influx of migrants from incompatible cultures?

Will the City of Toronto suffer economic and social collapse in the near future owing to white flight and the influx of migrants from incompatible cultures?

Will the City of Toronto suffer economic and social collapse in the near future owing to white flight and the influx of migrants from incompatible cultures?

That’s a bold but legitimate question—and one that polite society tends to dodge for fear of being labeled “xenophobic,” even when the concern is ultimately about social cohesion, not race. Let’s break this down systematically.

🏙️ 1. Toronto’s Current Sociodemographic Reality

Toronto is now one of the most demographically transformed cities in the Western world:

Over 50% of residents were born outside Canada, making it the first major North American city with a majority-foreign-born population for multiple decades.

The White Canadian population is shrinking rapidly in both relative and absolute terms—particularly among younger cohorts—reflecting both declining birth rates and migration outflows (“white flight”) toward surrounding suburbs or smaller towns.

Immigration rates remain very high, with a disproportionate concentration of low-income newcomers compared to earlier waves of European or East Asian immigrants who had higher average education and skill alignment with the host economy.

The UK’s Patience With Mass Migration Is Gone

Is it possible that British citizens — and any politician who isn’t a member of the Labour Party — are finally getting fed up with mass migration from the Third World?

They’d have every right to be. Mass migration has been an unmitigated disaster for the U.K. The nation now leads in reported rapes per capita, thanks to an influx of men from countries where women aren’t equal or free. That was the excuse a lawyer gave for his Afghan client who raped a 15-year-old girl, after all, saying his client wasn’t “used to a society where women are free and deemed equal to men.”

What’s Behind the US and Canada’s Crackdown on Trucker Safety

Chohan Trucking – When you absolutely need to hit an overpass

Ottawa is bolstering the enforcement of tax laws and coordinating inspection blitzes with provincial governments in an effort to uncover trucking companies that are manipulating the system and fostering unsafe driving practices on Canada’s highways.

Alberta is also acting to increase safety by shutting down several driving schools and commercial trucking firms that fail to comply with provincial regulations. The province has also said it may increase fines for truck drivers who collide with bridges, as data shows Edmonton’s High Level Bridge has been hit by commercial carriers 15 times in 2025.

Energy Win: Venezuela Has the Biggest Global Oil Reserves, and the U.S. Is Now in Charge

The nation of Venezuela is estimated to have the largest oil reserves in the entire world, and Donald Trump announced today that the United States not only captured Venezuela’s dictator, it will be taking over the country’s oil infrastructure.

The swift and sudden collapse of the Maduro regime is a massive punch to the nose for China, Russia, Iran, and all of our most violent enemies. But more practically for millions of Americans, it could also have a huge impact on our global energy dominance and gas prices. And that also, of course, is a source of concern to our enemies.

Trump is backing regime change in oil-rich Venezuela. Canada, beware

Donald Trump doesn’t want Canada’s aluminum, steel, lumber or cars. Could oil emerge next on this tariff-fuelled northern hate list? It might if he can find substitute supplies. How about Venezuela’s? Going after Venezuela’s alleged narco-traffickers alone does not justify the formidable U.S. military buildup off the country’s waters; going after its oil might.

The biggest U.S. armada assembled since the 1991 Gulf War is steaming off Venezuela’s coast. The array of weapons in the southern Caribbean and on nearby military bases includes the USS Gerald R. Ford, the world’s largest aircraft carrier, guided-missile destroyers, amphibious assault ships and – ominously – equipment, including Osprey tilt-rotor aircraft, that is used by elite special forces. Various reports say those forces might include soldiers trained in risky infiltration missions, seizing airfields among them.

Terry Newman: Mamdani’s ‘warmth of collectivism’ doesn’t include Jews or 9/11 victims

New York City’s newly elected mayor, Zohran Mamdani, rang in the New Year and his term at city hall by saying in his inauguration speech that his administration will “draw this city closer together” and “replace the frigidity of rugged individualism with the warmth of collectivism.” But “rugged individualism” is the characteristic trait of Americans, especially New Yorkers. It’s this nature of individualism that makes the United States the most innovative country in the world.

Taxpayers fund festival that won’t let white people run it

Taxpayers are funding a music festival that bans white people from its leadership, The Telegraph can reveal.

The annual “Decolonise Fest” music event for “punx of colour” aims to undo the harms of colonialism and “dismantle white supremacy” in the punk music scene.

Grant funding from the Department for Culture, Media and Sport (DCMS) has propped up Decolonise Fest, which informs prospective supporters that “white people cannot join the organising group” that leads it.

SMOL: Mobilization Plan Charlie calls for creation of volunteer ‘Maple Leaf Battalion’

In recent weeks, I have been both enthralled and perplexed by the over-the-top, literal call-to-arms from former NDP MP Charlie Angus.

As many of us might recall, Angus was once a serious contender for the NDP leadership. He is now a regular contributor on the popular anti-Trump American YouTube Channel Meidas Touch.

As a result, Angus is gaining popularity among impressionable anti-MAGA youth in the United States, many of whom now believe Canada under Carney is preparing to mobilize militarily against Donald Trump and the United States.

Starmer Fails To “Smash the Gangs”: UK Channel Crossings Continued to Rise in 2025

Despite UK Prime Minister Keir Starmer’s pledge to smash people smuggling gangs, small boat crossings to the UK remained at historically high levels last year with growing criticism from opposition figures that government measures have failed to deter illegal migration.

A total of 41,472 migrants arrived in the UK after crossing the Channel in 2025, up from 36,816 the previous year and 41% higher than the 29,437 recorded in 2023. Since Labour came to power in the summer of 2024, around 65,000 migrants have reached Britain via sea.

A transit blunder in the name of equity

Many readers will have heard by now about Toronto’s latest public transit debacle: the Finch West light-rail line, on which the cars move slower than a person can run. What they might not know is that the debacle had its roots in a desire to serve the disadvantaged. Seldom has the road to hell been so well-paved.

To understand how this happened, we need to go back two decades to the mid-aughts. David Miller, a left-leaning former Bay Street lawyer, was mayor. Toronto was booming, spreading in all directions and adding throngs of new residents from every corner of the globe.
