On Black Friday, two Best Buy stores were robbed in Minnesota.
For the past several weeks, major metropolitan areas — especially San Francisco and other California cities — have witnessed large groups of people carry out smash-and-grab robberies. Indeed, Black Friday saw a wave of group thefts across the United States.
As we learn more about the senseless SUV attack on the crowd attending a Christmas parade in Waukesha, Wis., some liberal media outlets are energetically attempting to spin away from the suspect Darrell Brooks and his left-wing politics on social media.
That’s funny. With Kyle Rittenhouse, they quickly dug into his social-media activity. The Washington Post warned last summer that “the 17-year-old shadowed local law enforcement, filling his social media feeds with posts declaring that ‘Blue Lives Matter’ and photos of himself posing with guns.” For Brooks, the paper lamely mentioned he wrote under the name MathBoi Fly and that “after multiple legal battles,” he “started turning the life he lived in the streets into music.”

Last week, the Ontario government of Premier Doug Ford announced it was investing $71.5 million to reinforce the fight against gun and gang violence and organized crime.

Nearly 40 people were shot by Sunday in Mayor Lori Lightfoot’s (D) Chicago during the 2021 Thanksgiving holiday weekend.
At least two of the shooting victims succumbed to their wounds.
Numerous so-called institutions of “higher learning” have reportedly been offering free counseling and therapy to those emotionally unwell students who were allegedly traumatized by 18-year-old Kyle Rittenhouse not being sent to prison for life.
As previously reported, Rittenhouse was acquitted of all charges on Nov. 19th based on comprehensive evidence showing that he’d opened fire in self-defense. The evidence included clear-cut video footage of three longtime criminals chasing after him during the 2020 Kenosha riots, reportedly with the intent to cause him harm.
… The review agency’s legal assessment of the measures looked at requirements in the CSIS Act that the spy service have “reasonable grounds to believe that a particular activity constitutes a threat to the security of Canada” and that the measure be “reasonable and proportional in the circumstances.”
Most of the measures “satisfied the requirements of the CSIS Act,” the report says.
But in a “limited number of cases” the spy service’s inclusion of people “without a rational link” to the threat meant the measures “were not ‘reasonable and proportional’ as required under the CSIS Act.”
Black Lives Matter sparked furious backlash on social media after an anti-Thanksgiving tweet that claimed that Americans were eating their holiday meals on ‘stolen land.’
On Thanksgiving Thursday the social activism group’s official Twitter slammed American’s across the country gathering to celebrate the holiday.
‘You are eating dry turkey and overcooked stuffing on stolen land,’ the group posted from its @Blklivesmatter verified Twitter account, which has 1 million followers.
In San Francisco on Wednesday, a man named Ajmal Amani, screaming “Allahu akbar,” charged at police with a large kitchen knife and was shot multiple times with a handgun and beanbag projectiles. Amani had previously threatened to kill a man in his residential hotel with the same large knife and later died of his wounds. Amani was, according to the Associated Press, “a former Afghan interpreter for U.S. special forces who had been shot several times during more than five years of service and struggled with post-traumatic stress disorder.”

Ontario reported its highest COVID-19 case count in nearly six months on Sunday, with 964 cases and one additional death.
It’s the highest overall count of cases recorded since May 30 when 1,033 cases were reported.
Covid: Australia woman charged after setting fire in quarantine hotel
A 31-year-old woman in Australia has been charged with arson after a fire destroyed part of a Covid-19 quarantine hotel in Cairns, Queensland.
It is alleged she lit a fire under a bed in the room she had been sharing with two children on Sunday morning.
More than 160 people were evacuated as fire took hold in the 11-storey Pacific Hotel. No-one was injured.
