JK Rowling blasts trans activists for trying to ‘intimidate’ her by posting Twitter picture that revealed home address

JK Rowling has blasted three trans activists for trying to ‘intimidate’ her after they protested outside her house before posting a picture of her address on social media.

The author, 56, has faced accusations of transphobia after she mocked an online article in June 2020 which used the words ‘people who menstruate’ instead of ‘women’.

She later defended herself against the claims in a passionate essay but has continued to face criticism. Rowling is a notable absence from the upcoming Harry Potter 20th anniversary reunion in light of her views.

US added to list of ‘backsliding’ democracies for first time

‘Visible deterioration’ in US civil liberties began in at least 2019, says international thinktank

The US has been added to an annual list of “backsliding” democracies for the first time, the International IDEA thinktank has said, pointing to a “visible deterioration” it said began in 2019.

Globally, more than one in four people live in a backsliding democracy, a proportion that rises to more than two in three with the addition of authoritarian or “hybrid” regimes, according to the Stockholm-based International Institute for Democracy and Electoral Assistance.

“This year we coded the United States as backsliding for the first time, but our data suggest that the backsliding episode began at least in 2019,” it said in its report.

Shamima Begum CAN’T go back to court to plead for her British citizenship back, says the government

Shamima Begum cannot go back to court to get her British citizenship back, a minister has insisted after the ISIS bride gave an interview denying carrying out atrocities.

ISIS-bride Begum was stripped of her citizenship in 2019 by Sajid Javid and in February this year the Supreme Court ruled on national security grounds that she cannot return to Britain to pursue an appeal against the decision.

However, she announced yesterday she is willing to face trial in Britain for the chance to come back.

The Palestinian Jihad against Jews

As representatives of donor countries were meeting in Norway on November 17 to discuss providing financial aid to the Palestinian Authority (PA), Palestinian leaders were busy doing what they have perfected: denying Jewish history and inciting their people against Israel.

Denial of Jewish history and the delegitimization of Israel have long been an integral and major part of the rhetoric of Palestinian leaders and the Palestinian narrative. In the world of the Palestinians, Jews have no history in Jerusalem; they have never lived there, and the Jewish Temples never existed.

Never-Trumpers Quit Fox News

Never Trump pundits Jonah Goldberg and Stephen Hayes have both resigned from their paid contributor gigs at Fox News, citing Tucker Carlson’s three-part series Patriot Purge on Fox Nation, as one of the reasons. The series explores the theory that the Capitol riot was a “false flag” operation meant to be used as a pretext for the persecution of pro-Trump conservatives.

China Mocks Joe Biden for Mulling Fake ‘Diplomatic‘ Boycott of Genocide Olympics

Chinese state propaganda newspaper Global Times published a dismissed editorial on Sunday in response to President Joe Biden saying he was considering a diplomatic “boycott” of the 2022 Beijing Winter Olympics, noting that, as long as athletes from America participate, such a move is not a real boycott.

It is cowardly and stupid. Perfect for our sleazebag politicos.

Kyle Rittenhouse lawyer rips CNN, MSNBC for bungling ‘basic facts’

Kyle Rittenhouse’s defense lawyer ripped CNN and MSNBC for allegedly false reports and bungling “basic facts” amid his client’s high-profile trial.

“It’s false and it makes me angry that they can’t take the time to at least get the generic, basic facts correct because it didn’t fit in the story they wanted to tell,” Richards said of the media outlets.

The attorney specifically targeted MSNBC hosts Joe Scarborough and Joy Reid over the alleged false claims they — or their guests — made about Rittenhouse.

Iran and Hezbollah in Colombia

In late June, Colombian authorities neutralized a possible Iranian-backed assassination plot in Bogota that could have killed two Israeli businessmen on Colombian territory. The plot, which began to unravel in April, involved an Iranian operative, Rahmat Asadi, who allegedly recruited two Colombian cutouts to carry out the operation.

Thankfully, the assassination plot was thwarted, but it shows that the long arm of Iranian terror reaches Colombia.

Facebook Employees Pushed Company To Exclude Criticism Of White People, Men From Hate Speech Rules: REPORT

Facebook employees urged executives to exclude criticism directed towards white people and men from the company’s hate speech policies, according to internal documents reported on by The Washington Post.

Facebook researchers tried to change the company’s content moderation algorithms that automatically delete hate speech, because they viewed the algorithms as inadequately protecting minority users, The Washington Post reported, citing internal memos and research. The effort came following a document from April 2020 which showed that around 90% of hate speech algorithms were detecting and removing content directed towards white people and men.

“By the end of this winter everyone in Germany will either be vaccinated, recovered or dead”

Stasinated

Germany’s health minister has issued his starkest warning yet on the importance of getting vaccinated.

“By the end of this winter everyone in Germany will either be vaccinated, recovered or dead,” Jens Spahn told a news conference in Berlin on Monday.

Germany is in the grip of a fourth wave of coronavirus. Cases are rising rapidly and many hospitals are full.

It has one of the lowest vaccination rates in Western Europe, with 68% of people fully vaccinated.

Germany’s infection rate is at its highest since the pandemic began, and health experts have warned this wave could be the worst yet.

MALCOLM: Does O’Toole still have a mandate to lead?

He lost the last election in every conceivable measure: fewer votes than the Conservative Party of Canada got in 2019, fewer seats, losses in key regions like Toronto and Vancouver, and losses in key demographics like women, new Canadians and particularly Chinese Canadians.

I think “Conservatives” had best look for a different political home.

The CPC is now Liberal 2.0 and that’s not going to change if O’Toole is ousted.

The Brain Trust will try to pull the wool over your eyes a third time and parade another ‘True Blue’ Leadership candidate.

If you believe them then you belong in the CPC.
