Canada summons Israel’s ambassador over handling of activists on Gaza aid flotilla

Foreign Affairs Minister Anita Anand says she’s summoned Israel’s ambassador over the Middle East country’s treatment of a flotilla of activists, including Canadians, bound for Gaza.

The flotilla was intercepted by Israeli forces in international waters on Tuesday and later taken to an Israeli port.

Ms. Anand said Canadians were among those on the flotilla.

Government Report: Israel Must Get Ready for War With Turkey

Israel must prepare for a direct confrontation with Turkey and its proxies, according to a government-commissioned report on updating the country’s defense budget and security strategy, presented on Monday, January 6th.

The report was unveiled by the so-called Nagel Committee, a group of security and defense officials established by the Netanyahu government and headed by former National Security Council chief Jacob Nagel.

Apart from Iran, the document identifies Turkey as the newest threat to Israel’s geopolitical interests in the Middle East and warns that Ankara’s ambitions to restore its Ottoman-era influence could lead to heightened tensions and possibly even to war.

Britain must stand up against those who support Hamas

It was 7 a.m. when the ‘peace rave’ outside of Re’im was reaching its peak. Outside the kibbutz, five miles from the Gaza border, the participants of the dance festival were ‘coming up’ at just the moment that the terrorists of Hamas started to come down.

They arrived on motorised paragliders, with machine-guns in position, like something from Mad Max. They came by motorbike and in trucks bearing the marks of Hamas. Rockets had already started firing across Israel from Gaza, but here the twenty- and thirty-something rave attendees were soon running in every direction across the Negev desert – hunted down. At the time of writing, 260 bodies have been recovered from the site. This is just one of the many simultaneous massacres across Israel in the areas nearest to Gaza. It is Israel’s worst security breach for 50 years, and the biggest hit to the perception of Israeli invulnerability in two generations.

Egypt warned Israel days before Hamas struck, US committee chairman says

Israel was warned by Egypt of potential violence three days before Hamas’ deadly cross-border raid, a US congressional panel chairman has said.

House of Representatives Foreign Affairs Committee head Michael McCaul told reporters of the alleged warning.

Israeli PM Benjamin Netanyahu described the reports as “absolutely false”.

Israeli intelligence services are under scrutiny for their failure to prevent the deadliest attack by Palestinian militants in Israel’s 75-year history.

Israel directs public hospitals not to treat Hamas terrorists

Health Minister Moshe Arbel issued a directive to the public health system in Israel to refuse to treat captured terrorists on Wednesday afternoon.

“Since the beginning of the fighting, the issue of treating the damned and despicable Hamas terrorists within the public hospitals has piled up a tremendous difficulty on the health system,” wrote Arbel.

On Israel, why should I love my enemy?

Hamas have plumbed the depths of evil

“Love your enemies,” a holy Jew said, a long time ago. But I am not sure I am quite ready for that. Not today at least. I am neither Jewish nor Israeli, but my wife is both, as are my two small boys. They all have Israeli citizenship. And explaining to my little ones what is happening over in their other home has felt so important, and yet completely impossible.

“Decolonization is not a metaphor”

The leftists have decided to tell us precisely who they are. It is important that we listen.

On the Saturday morning of October 7th, the Hamas terrorists currently in control of the Gaza Strip launched operation “Al-Aqsa Storm,” breaking through the border into Israel with hundreds of gunmen on trucks, motorcycles, and paragliders, accompanied by thousands of rockets fired into the country. An orgy of murder and abduction followed, with terrorists taking over Israeli communities and slaughtering civilians. The invasion is the largest in scale since the 1948 War of Independence, and at time of writing, there have been close to 1,000 casualties confirmed, over 2,000 wounded, more than 100 (and counting) taken hostage, and over 5,000 rockets fired into Israel.

The scenes that are now unfolding—reaching unprecedented millions due to social media, where many of the terrorists are posting visual evidence of their crimes—are gut-wrenching.

Family of Canadian-Israeli woman taken hostage in Gaza calls on Canada to help

‘Tiferet’s father, aunt, uncle, grandparents and great-grandmother are Canadians. Doesn’t that count?’

TEL AVIV — It’s Saturday night, but instead of baking Tiferet Lapidot a cake for her going-away birthday party, her friends were baking challah bread, weaving it with prayers — as a Jewish act of resistance and faith. Hundreds of women from all over Israel blessed the dough, sending videos online for the return of their friend, a hostage taken to the Gaza Strip by members of Hamas.

Publish the Names of Students and Professors Who Support Hamas Lynching and Rapes

Student groups at many elite universities — including Harvard, Yale and Columbia, CUNY — have come out in support of Hamas at a time when its terrorists have raped, murdered and kidnapped women, toddlers, the elderly and other civilians, and have reportedly beheaded babies. The immoral groups that support such atrocities are composed of both students and faculty members. Many of these individuals hide behind their organizations’ names and refuse to identify themselves. They do not want to be held accountable in the court of public opinion for their own despicable views.

The open marketplace of ideas, which I support, allows students to hold and express these views, but it also requires transparency so that the rest of us can judge them, hold them accountable and debate them.

B’nai Brith Canada Discovers Hamas Flag at Rally in Support of Terrorism

TORONTO – B’nai Brith Canada is deeply concerned after discovering a flag bearing the emblem of the Hamas terrorist organization at a demonstration celebrating the unprecedented wave of terrorism in Israel.

Only one?

I was photographing Hezbollah flags etc a decade ago.

It’s now an accepted part of our multicultral experience!

Because the immoral monsters in Ottawa invited them here.

Not a good idea in my, sunlight works best: UK Home Secretary may ban Palestian flags after pro-Hamas rallies

Hamas Leaves Trail of Terror in Israel

They were killed waiting for the bus, dancing at a festival, doing morning chores and hiding as best they could. Searching bullet-riddled houses, streets and lawns, Israeli soldiers are still finding them.

The soldiers, retaking control of the kibbutzim, towns and settlements near the Gaza Strip that came under attack by Palestinian terrorists over the weekend, have recovered body after body after body.

EU funded water pipelines despite Hamas boast it could turn them into rockets

European Union is continuing aid to Palestinians amid growing fears over how it is being used

The European Union helped to build more than 30 miles of water pipelines for Palestinians despite Hamas terrorists boasting of their ability to forge an arsenal of home-made rockets from pipes.

Brussels has poured almost €100 million into pipeline projects in territories controlled by the Islamist group over the last decade, a Telegraph analysis of the bloc’s foreign aid found.

The revelation comes amid a mounting international row over future handouts to Gaza amid fears humanitarian donations could fall into the hands of Hamas.

What do you mean “could?”

What will Israel do next? Military options in Gaza explained

Civilian casualties are likely to be in their thousands, which could attract worldwide condemnation

Only last month Israel unveiled its latest weapon, the Merkava Mk 4 Barak tank, which the country’s defence ministry believes to be the most advanced in the world.

It is fitted with the latest “platform-mounted sensory systems”, in which Israel is a world leader: self-operating 360-degree-vision technology that can incorporate artificial intelligence to spot and target fast-moving foes in the sort of counterinsurgent, asymmetric wars that are the main threat to the country.

This formidable technology is about to receive its sternest test. The Israel Defence Forces’ tanks — new and old — and 300,000 reservists are preparing for what most Israelis and Palestinians assume will be a ground invasion of Gaza to try to finish off Hamas once and for all.

Attract worldwide condemnation? I don’t think that the old “disproportionate response” line is going to hold much weight.

They would be wise to erase Gaza.

Seems it will be different this timeWhat is the endgame in Gaza?

Mohammed Deif: Palestinian militant behind Israel attack is slippery, one-armed, one-legged former bomb maker

Answers to Lucky

The shadowy mastermind behind Hamas’ sneak weekend slaughter in Israel is a one-armed, one-legged psycho nicknamed “the cat with nine lives’’ because he’s dodged so many Israeli assassination attempts.

“Mohammed Deif,” the pseudonym used by the fearsome head of the Palestinian terror group’s military wing, chillingly warned “the enemy” that they will soon be “held to account” as Hamas launched its unprecedented attack on Israel, kicking off a war Saturday that has already left more than 1,000 Israelis and 765 Palestinians dead.

Immigration Made Australia a Tolerant Place Where Muslims Chant “Gas the Jews” Outside the Sydney Opera House

Pro-Palestinian protesters were allowed to chant ‘gas the Jews’ and burn the Star of David in front of Sydney’s Opera House on Monday night – while a counter-demonstrator was arrested for attempting to fly the Israeli flag.

Police are now under fire for allowing the rally to go ahead – while telling Jewish Australians to ‘stay home’ for their own safety.
