Our preventable third wave: The state of Canadian vaccines as COVID cases rise

It was always known that Canada’s failure to procure timely vaccines would yield otherwise preventable waves of disease, but only now is the rubber starting to meet the road.

Ontario is fast approaching more active cases than at any time since the start of the pandemic, with the province now racking up a new COVID-19 diagnosis every 15 seconds, the majority of them the highly infectious and more deadly variants. Upticks are also rearing their head in Quebec and Western Canada. In British Columbia right now, nearly 10 per cent of the 100,000 COVID-19 cases logged since March, 2020 have occurred within the last two weeks.

Major League Baseball’s Foul Ball

Another organization blinded by the Kultursmog.

Major League Baseball (MLB) is following Black Lives Matter (BLM) and taking a stand on the state of Georgia’s recent election legislation. MLB, under the direction of someone by the name of Rob Manfred, is pulling the 2021 All-Star Game out of suburban Atlanta along with the MLB draft. The New York Times in a front-page editorial (camouflaged as news) said the move by MLB was a “rebuke of a new Georgia voting law that critics have predicted would disenfranchise Black voters.”

Solar Industry’s Reliance on Chinese Forced Labor Threatens Biden’s Green Economy

Solar material production skyrocketed in Xinjiang after Communist nation opened labor camps

An unlikely coalition of Republicans, Democrats, and labor leaders are concerned by the solar industry’s dependence on goods linked to Chinese forced labor camps, a development that threatens President Joe Biden’s push for a green energy economy.

Western China’s Xinjiang region—where China is forcing more than a million Uyghurs into brutal forced labor regimes—dominates the solar sector’s supply chain. Nearly half of the world’s polysilicon, a raw material crucial to producing solar cells, comes from Xinjiang. That economic dependency is attracting the attention of a bipartisan group of lawmakers and union heads, who cite credible reports linking the solar industry to the modern-day slavery regime.

China’s Exploitation of Western Academia

China’s Exploitation of Western Academia

Almost 200 British academics from 20 unnamed UK universities are being investigated for possibly sharing British technology with China that could be used in the Chinese government’s repression of minorities and dissidents, according to a recent news report by The Times. The revelation came shortly after the University of Manchester cancelled a research partnership with China Electronics Technology Group (CETC).

The cancellation came after the university was warned that CETC is, “one of the main architects of the Chinese government’s surveillance state in Xinjiang, China, providing both technology and infrastructure that is being used for the identity-based persecution of more than one million people, predominantly Uyghur Muslims”. The university said their research collaboration with CETC aimed to “significantly advance the field of radio astronomy” and that it had been unaware of CETC’s alleged role in the persecution of Uyghurs.

Best-Selling Devotional Has Prayer to ‘Help Me to Hate White People’

How far have we come since Martin Luther King Jr. gave his famous “I Have a Dream” speech?

Sometimes, I’m not so sure. While our society has made tremendous progress toward the idea that all men are created equal, anti-whiteness seems to be all the rage these days. And that is no less racist than hating anyone of any other color.

Biden Is Determined to Create Jobs… in China

Biden Is Determined to Create Jobs… in China

“It’s the largest American jobs investment since World War II,” President Joe Biden said on March 31 in Pittsburgh, as he announced his $2.3 trillion infrastructure program. “It will create millions of jobs, good-paying jobs.”

He is correct. Biden will, in his American Jobs Plan as it’s formally called, create millions of good-paying jobs. Many of those jobs, however, will not be in America,. For three principal reasons, his jobs plan will create full employment in China.
