Army pulls the pin on ‘gender neutral’ combat fitness test; creates separate tiers for men, women

The latest version of the Army Combat Fitness Test (ACFT) will be gender-neutral in how performance is measured but will establish separate ranked tier systems for men and women, military officials said Monday as they rolled out the latest tweak to the Army‘s physical performance standards.

Army leaders said that both male and female soldiers will be measured on the same numerical scale of 360 to 600, with a 360 score being the minimum threshold. In other words, a man and woman who run a mile in the same amount of time will have their performance measured equally on that point scale, and they will receive the same score.

Diane Francis: New study finds delaying second doses of COVID vaccine could put lives at risk

The Liberal government’s failure to procure enough COVID-19 vaccines is hurting the economy, which is why many provinces have opted to delay the second dose in order to get as many people partially vaccinated as possible in short order. But a new study out of the United Kingdom suggests this strategy could be putting lives at risk.

Pfizer and Moderna recommend that their two doses be given around 21 days apart, but Health Canada and the National Advisory Council on Immunization have agreed to stretch it out to 105 days, solely because of Ottawa’s procurement bungling.

It’s No Surprise China Employs The Anti-American Propaganda Of Systemic Racism

The Chinese side knows that wielding the same self-loathing ideas the ruling class teaches in American universities will hurt Americans most.

It’s a cliché to claim every setback as the official end of unipolarity, but if there were ever to be a date for historians to mark the televised humiliation and official end of American hegemony, it would be the very public verbal slapping of U.S. Secretary of State Antony Blinken and National Security Advisor Jake Sullivan by the Chinese ambassador on U.S. soil.

“This six-foot distancing requirement has probably been the single costliest mitigation tactic that we’ve employed in response to COVID … and it really wasn’t based on clear science. … We should have re-adjudicated this much earlier,” he said in an interview with CNBC.
