Who Is to Blame for Black Poverty?

Who Is to Blame for Black Poverty?

We’re all familiar with the cycle of poverty in Black urban neighborhoods that Democrat politicians have run for decades. Everybody assumes it’s because Democrats are so wedded to their policies, they keep throwing good money after bad. Maybe that’s not the problem, though. Maybe Black Democrat politicians don’t want to help these areas, and the citizens in those areas don’t actually want to be helped.

UK Finally Acknowledges the Obvious

The first step in any effective rehabilitation program is acknowledging you have a problem. The United Kingdom has finally come to the realization that its deradicalization program for terrorists is an utter failure.

Jonathan Hall, Britain’s independent reviewer of terrorism legislation, made this admission, “…there is no evidence that deradicalisation programmes work,” publicly in a recent interview with the London Times.

Radical on the Rise – A close look at Stacey Abrams and her pernicious agenda.

Stacey Abrams is a 47-year-old attorney who launched her political career as a Democrat in 2006 when she was elected to the Georgia House of Representatives, where she held a seat until August 2017. Since losing a 2018 gubernatorial bid in Georgia, she has emerged as a leading promoter of fellow Democrats Raphael Warnock and Jon Ossoff, who seek to win the upcoming Georgia runoff elections that will determine which party controls the U.S. Senate. On Monday, Abrams boasted to CBS This Morning that 1.2 million Georgians – including 85,000 who did not vote in the November elections six weeks ago — have already requested absentee ballots for the runoffs. Added Abrams: “They are disproportionately voters between the ages of 18 and 29 and disproportionately people of color,” demographics that tend to heavily favor Democrats.

White House Adviser Navarro: 379,000 ‘Possibly Illegal Ballots’ Cast in Michigan

White House adviser Peter Navarro claimed in an interview on Monday that more than 379,000 possibly illegal ballots were allegedly cast in Michigan.

“My top-line number at this point for illegal, possibly illegal ballots, is 379,000,” Navarro said on Steve Bannon’s “War Room” podcast. “That’s more than twice the victory margin,” he continued.

Vatican declares it ‘morally acceptable’ for Catholics to receive Covid vaccines based on research that used tissue from abortions

The Vatican has declared it is ‘morally acceptable’ for Roman Catholics to receive Covid vaccines based on research that used fetal tissue from abortions.

The Congregation for the Doctrine of the Faith, the Vatican’s watchdog office for doctrinal orthodoxy, said it addressed the question after receiving several requests for ‘guidance’ during recent months.

The doctrine office noted that bishops, Catholic groups and experts have offered ‘diverse and sometimes conflicting pronouncements’ on the matter.

‘Zombie Angelina Jolie’ statue which terrified residents in Russian city lasts just one day, torn down after outcry from locals

Tearing down statues has become a new frontier in the West’s culture wars. But one Russian town’s decision to cart off a “terrifying” new metal monument is unlikely to cause much controversy.

Authorities in Novovoronezh were filmed using a crane to pull up the figure and load it into a truck on Monday. Named ‘Alenka’, it had been unveiled only the day before, in honor of the 250th anniversary of the village first founded on the site.

Orion Cyber Attack: Threats in Space

Recent Russian and Chinese aggressions bode ill for the future of American military security.

Last Tuesday, Russia successfully tested a direct-ascent anti-satellite missile. The test wasn’t their first. It was a progression of the Russians’ development of kinetic satellite killers, including hunter-killer satellites. The Chinese have been developing and testing such weapons since at least 2007. (The Chinese are also developing ground-based laser anti-satellite weapons.)

Randall Denley: Doug Ford’s nonsensical Ontario-wide lockdown is his dumbest move yet

Randall Denley: Doug Ford’s nonsensical Ontario-wide lockdown is his dumbest move yet

Ontario Premier Doug Ford made the dumbest move of his premiership Monday. His severe pandemic lockdown of the entire province will not only subject millions of Ontarians to unnecessary restrictions, it effectively undermines the idea that his government’s decision-making is driven by science, logic or even a minimum of rationality.

There is a significant COVID problem in Toronto, the GTA and Windsor-Essex. That’s not going to be helped one bit by shutting down everyday life in Ottawa, Northern Ontario and other areas where COVID numbers are light.

Pastor irked after Covid police called during London, Ont. collapse victim’s funeral

The pastor at a Port Burwell church says he was surprised to get a call from police during the funeral for a young man killed in the partial collapse of an under-construction apartment complex in London.

Pastor Herman Bueckert of the Lighthouse Gospel Church says an OPP officer left him a voicemail citing a report of overcapacity issues at the church, where mourners had gathered last Thursday for John Martens’ funeral.

Who in hell rats out a funeral church service?

COVID, Woke Science—and Death

COVID, Woke Science—and Death

In this brave new world of ours, will we be pruning back the elderly altogether by credentialed “ethicists,” whether because of their longevity or race?

Since March, the Left has proclaimed itself the guardian of science in dealing with the COVID-19 epidemic. Its champions are the World Health Organization, the Centers for Disease Control and Dr. Fauci. All in the past have rendered valuable service to the public, and often life-saving aid.

Yet the mixture of COVID-19, the first national quarantine, and Trump Derangement Syndrome have combined to give us reason to question their judgment. These authorities variously have issued conflicting recommendations to wear, then not to wear, and finally to wear masks. Or they have both criticized and then advised travel bans.

Polish Bill Threatens $2.2 Million Fines For Social Media Companies Who Censor Lawful Speech

As UK lawmakers consider a 2021 ‘Online Safety Bill,’ which would allow fines of up to £18 million (US$24 million) against online platforms that ‘fail to protect users or remove harmful content,” (including ‘disinformation and cyberbullying‘) things are a little different in Poland, where sticks and stones still have an advantage over words and political opinions.
