Mark Carney appeals to AFN chiefs as they reject his energy deal with Alberta

OTTAWA — Prime Minister Mark Carney sought to assure hundreds of First Nations chiefs Tuesday that the federal government will not impose a pipeline or other resource projects over their objections after they unanimously called for the withdrawal of his Alberta energy deal.

But the prime minister stopped short of guaranteeing that Indigenous Peoples will have a veto over resource developments, saying only that his government believes in the importance of Indigenous participation and consultation, along with Indigenous equity stakes and benefits from such projects.

Carney wants the Indians to stop the pipelines.

20 Percent of Canadians Do Not Have Family Doctor: Survey

One in five Canadians say they do not have a family doctor and face health-care challenges as a result, according to a recent survey.

The survey, conducted by Angus Reid in collaboration with the Canadian Cancer Society was released on Nov. 28.

The survey also found that many Canadians who do have a family doctor report it is difficult to get an appointment, waiting at least a week or more to be seen. Survey authors say that is because doctors are taking on too much.

Trump is the one Western leader who will halt migration chaos

LIKE him or loathe him, question his inconsistencies and his many other flaws, but in my view Donald Trump’s response to the shooting of two members of the West Virginia National Guard in Washington DC by an Afghan migrant was spot on.

There was none of the pussyfooting ‘my thoughts are with . . .’ etc. Without equivocation, he immediately branded the shooting ‘an act of evil, an act of hatred and an act of terror’, adding: ‘It was a crime against our entire nation.’

The LGBT Movement Thinks It Owns Europe

The EU elites ludicrously claim that any opposition to the LGBT agenda constitutes alignment with Moscow, as if the universal, millennia-old belief in natural marriage is somehow Russian.

Just before the Polish presidential debate on April 11, Karol Nawrocki placed a Polish flag on his lectern. “I will represent it,” he said. Then, he walked across the stage to his liberal opponent Rafał Trzaskowski’s podium and set an LGBT flag in front of him. “I also have for Mr. Rafal Trzaskowski [The LGBT flag] because he has been running away from this symbolism,” he added, as Trzaskowski swiftly stashed the flag out of sight.

Sorry, celebs, the ‘far right’ slur doesn’t work anymore

The days are long gone when rich activists could write off working-class voters as ‘fascists’.

I see Kneecap have put their name to a new movement ‘against the far right’. The Guardianistas in balaclavas are hooking up with other smug celebs to call for an end to ‘narratives of division and racism’. Wait – this is the same Kneecap that said ‘Up Hamas’ after Hamas butchered more than a thousand Jews? The same Kneecap that posted a pic of themselves grinning like loons the day after that act of fascist mass murder? The same Kneecap whose oldest member – the twat in the tricolor tea cosy – published an image of himself reading the collected speeches of Hassan Nasrallah, a book that calls Jews the ‘descendants of apes and pigs’?

Statistics Canada said it missed 38 per cent of non-citizens in last census

In the latest example of Ottawa having sketchy figures on the number of non-citizens in the country, Statistics Canada has confirmed that it likely missed several hundred thousand non-permanent residents in the most recent census.

The term “non-permanent residents” refers to anybody living in Canada as a student, a temporary foreign worker or an asylum seeker. And a new report estimates that 38 per cent of non-permanent residents were “missed” by the 2021 census.

This was likely done deliberately to prevent an uprising. Our government simply can not be trusted.

Russian Porsche owners’ cars are immobilised across the country – with ‘deliberate’ satellite interference feared

Hundreds of Russian Porsche owners have found their cars immobilised across the country, amid fears of deliberate satellite interference.

Drivers have complained that their vehicles have suddenly locked up, lost power and refused to start, as owners and dealerships warn of a growing wave of failures that has left hundreds of vehicles stuck in place.

The nationwide meltdown hit Porsche models built since 2013, which are all fitted with the brand’s factory VTS satellite-security unit.

Meet the e-girls selling European decline to America

Earlier this year, a striking 28-year-old woman, dressed head to toe in a vivid shade of crimson, stepped up to the podium at a conference in Hungary. “Ladies and gentlemen: hello Budapest. I’m so thrilled to be here again,” she began, adjusting the twin microphones and gently swiping a strand of long blonde hair from her forehead. “As some of you might remember, last year I gave here a speech as well, about the ‘great replacement,’” she continued, confidently glancing around the assembled audience. “I wanted the whole world to know that the ‘great replacement theory’ was, in fact, not a theory, but reality. White people are becoming a minority in their own homelands at an exceptionally fast rate.”

Everything about this woman – her honeyed tresses, the impeccably tailored suit, the precisely arched brows accentuating a dewy, youthful glow and, of course, the words she was actually saying – might have situated her squarely within the heart of the MAGA playbook. Everything, that is, except the lilting accent and occasional grammatical flub betraying her European origins.

Not much of a sell job is required given the evidence of Europe’s decline and our own is plain to see as is the role of the Great Replacement in hastening our demise.

Is This Polar Bear Town Canada’s Key to the Arctic?

The tiny town of Churchill has two of Canada’s largest pieces of Arctic infrastructure, but years of neglect have left them in poor shape amid growing superpower rivalry in the region.

It has northern Canada’s only railway to the populated south, the only Arctic deepwater port and a runway capable of handling some of the world’s largest military and commercial aircraft, a legacy of the town’s Cold War past.

Now, as the world’s superpowers flex their muscles in a warming Arctic, the tiny town of Churchill, on Hudson Bay’s western shore, seems poised to play an outsize role as Canada prepares to move aggressively into one of the newest global arenas.

“Canada is looking to secure its Arctic sovereignty, and we can fill that role naturally,” said the town’s mayor, Mike Spence. “We’ve got the infrastructure here — I mean, at least you’ve got that foundation.”

Making a Killing: Reconciliation, Genocide, and Plunder in Canada.

OneBC Caucus is proud to present Making a Killing: Reconciliation, Genocide, and Plunder in Canada. Making a Killing is a feature documentary film exposing the massive scandal behind the taking of wealth, land, and power from the Canadian public to benefit indigenous tribes. It debunks the worst lie in Canadian history: the lie that 215 bodies were found at the Kamloops Residential School and that Canadians committed a mass murder against indigenous children. Making a Killing is the first documentary film produced by an elected caucus.

Crap Coffee Shop Tim Hortons lobbied MPs for more temporary foreign workers over last 18 months

I’ll be fine with a few less Tim Horton’s blighting the land.

For more than a year, Canadian coffee giant Tim Hortons has been pushing the federal government to lift the cap on temporary foreign workers some of its franchisees can hire, CBC News has learned.

The requests occurred over at least 18 months, in writing and in lobbying meetings with officials and MPs, as Canadian views on immigration soured and Ottawa reduced various newcomer streams.

Tim Horton’s doesn’t meet the standard of pig’s swill.
