A summer of protests, marked by flags and fierce debate over asylum accommodation, has laid bare Britain’s deepening tensions.
An exclusive ITV News/Ipsos poll reveals the scale of that division, with 85% of Britons saying the country feels split – and many pointing to immigration as the root cause.
The poll surveyed around 2,000 Britons between October 31 and November 4 this year. Participants were aged between 16 and 75 years old, and were from a wide mix of ethnic, social, and economic backgrounds.
Another shooting in Surrey, this one recorded by the offender themselves.
This was an act of terrorism, deliberately filmed to instil fear in our communities.
It’s absolutely unacceptable.

Maryam Alavinasab sits at the dining room table in her two-storey home near York Mills Road and Leslie Street and cries, explaining she has barely slept in the past six days.
The mother of two daughters, aged 12 and 18, who moved to Canada from Iran seven years ago says she bought the home two years ago before gutting and re-designing it. The main floor bathroom, she says, even earned her a design award.

Xavier is worse it’s often an hourly visit.

Israel’s parliament has passed the first reading of a bill proposing the death penalty for those it deems to be terrorists acting against the state – a requirement which means it is likely to be used only against Palestinians convicted of deadly attacks on Israelis.
The bill – which has been condemned by the Palestinian Authority and human rights groups – was backed in the 120-seat Knesset by 39 votes to 16.
Far-right National Security Minister, Itamar Ben-Gvir – whose Jewish Power party brought the vote – celebrated late on Monday by handing out sweets.
“After the law is finally passed – terrorists will only be released to hell,” he said.
If by "banned" you mean "the book is available everywhere that books are sold and has been obsessively promoted by every major media outlet for decades and adapted into six seasons of a streaming show on Hulu and not actually banned anywhere in any form at all" then yeah the book… https://t.co/F8fuorRrrQ

Lest we forget our veterans who served and died in foreign wars and, instead, focus on exaggerated slavery and past colonialism.
Only in Toronto would we be as stupid and as insensitive as that.

Finally, common sense has prevailed at the International Olympic Committee (IOC). If rumours are to be believed, a blanket ban on transgender-identifying men competing in women’s Olympic events is set to be introduced. At last!

Mark Carney’s first federal budget as Prime Minister should be called the Eurovision Budget. It piles on debt and contains a $150-million allocation to the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation (CBC) — disguised as cultural investment — which includes, unbelievably, a plan for Canada to “explore participation” in the Eurovision Song Contest.
Eurovision is watched by 160 million Europeans annually and is a music contest. Carney wants Canada, which is not in Europe and not even a member of the European Broadcasting Union, to join the show. This is not parody. It’s in the 2025-26 federal budget.

Britain has stopped sharing intelligence with the US about drug trafficking in the Caribbean, in a move that risks opening a fresh rift with Donald Trump.
In a major break with its closest ally, the Labour Government allegedly paused intelligence briefings because it does not want to be complicit in US strikes on suspected drug boats in Latin America, CNN reported.
The pause came into effect in September shortly after the US began carrying out lethal strikes against boats suspected of transporting drugs from Latin America to mainland US, sources told the news outlet.

Foreign National Pleads Guilty to Smuggling Migrants From Canada Into the US
A foreign national has pleaded guilty to conspiring to facilitate the smuggling of illegal migrants into the United States, and will face deportation after serving a two-year prison sentence, the Canada Border Services Agency (CBSA) says.
Edgar Gonzalez de Paz, 37, pleaded guilty to facilitating illegal entries into the United States at a Montreal courthouse on Nov. 6, the CBSA said in a Nov. 10 news release. The agency says Gonzalez de Paz faces a prison sentence of two years less a day.
I bet he moves more illegals out of the country than the government does.

In the last two weeks of October 2025, criminal violence with illegal guns has reached a fever pitch, which exposes (yet again) the stark hypocrisy of federal Liberal firearms policy.
While Mark Carney’s Liberal government pours hundreds of millions into a useless Firearms Confiscation Compensation Scheme that only targets licenced owners — hunters, sport shooters, and rural residents — violent crime involving smuggled illegal guns surges unchecked.
