The company said Tuesday it has signed a master franchising agreement with Inspire Brands to bring one of America’s largest coffee chains back to Canada.

Canadian visits to 267 U.S. cities are down — except for these three, that is

Canadian visits to 267 U.S. cities are down — except for these three, that is

A large study of cellphone presence in more than 250 U.S. destinations reveals a sharp drop of up to 65 per cent in the number of Canadian visitors to American locations in the two years between April 2024 and March 2026.

Oddly, however, exactly three places showed an increase, in the form of a surge of between 21 and 35 per cent. Researchers are not sure why, but Gainesville Fla., Cleveland, Ohio, and Portland, Ore., alone saw the number of Canadians shoot up, at least based on their cellphone usage.

Caricature posters portray Jews as ‘Labour’s monsters’

Scotland Yard is investigating election posters in Tower Hamlets after a complaint that they stirred up racial hatred of Jews.

The posters depicted a “monstrous characterisation” of a religious Jewish man in military uniform, with the text “Labour’s monsters”.

According to a report submitted to the Metropolitan Police, this was an alleged breach of the Public Order Act, because the image was “selected to appear menacing”.

Professor Derails Hoax Interview After She Turns Camera on Crew

Author and former university professor Frances Widdowson reacted to a recent hoax interview where children’s shoes were dumped on a table in front of her by taking out her smartphone and interviewing those who she said had been trying to humiliate her.

Widdowson, who has faced arrest at universities for attempting to hold conversations on claims of unmarked graves at the site of a former residential school in Kamloops, B.C., said an “elaborate deception” led to her being in a Vancouver studio for a hoax interview on May 4.

American Economy Leaves Europe Behind

American Economy Leaves Europe Behind

A debate is emerging over the economic difference between Europe and America. It seems to be driven primarily by the American side, where it has ostensibly been inspired by the spotlight that President Trump has shone upon Europe in general. He has drawn American eyes to Europe both through tariff negotiations and his administration’s highlighting of the decline of freedom of speech in the European Union.

Recently, the Wall Street Journal made a notable contribution to the transatlantic comparison. In an editorial video, Mark Kelly, senior producer of the Journal’s editorial page, brought together viewpoints from a variety of contributors to try to determine what keeps America ahead and why the gap has increased in recent years.

Taxpayers’ Federation says Ottawa has no evidence gun grab program will reduce crime

The Canadian Taxpayers Federation says newly obtained federal records show Ottawa has no evidence its controversial gun grab program will reduce crime or improve public safety.

The federation is calling on the Liberal government to scrap the program after an access-to-information request revealed Public Safety Canada does not possess any internal analysis measuring the program’s effectiveness.

DEI-Elevated Federal Judge Tried To Free An Alleged Murderer Because She’s Incompetent At Basic Law

DEI-Elevated Federal Judge Tried To Free An Alleged Murderer Because She’s Incompetent At Basic Law

Last week, a federal judge in Rhode Island demanded that DHS take down a press release. The release was factually true: It warned citizens that Judge Melissa DuBose had ordered the release of an illegal alien wanted for murder in the Dominican Republic. Because the press release reflects legitimate debate regarding a judge’s ruling, DHS refused to take it down.

Over his four years in office, President Biden transformed large portions of the judiciary by appointing judges so radical that senators like Joe Manchin would not even support them. For sixteen months, DHS has suffered the consequences of that transformation.

The Enemy Is Already Inside the Gates. Mark Carney Just Opened Them Wider.

OTTAWA — When the Chinese consulate in Houston was ordered closed in July 2020, it did not go quietly. Within an hour of being told they had 72 hours to vacate, the staff set the building on fire.

What followed was, in the account of the man who ordered it done, a revelation. “Within two days,” former CIA Director and Secretary of State Mike Pompeo told the Canada Strong and Free conference in Ottawa, “we had identified hundreds of Chinese agents operating in the United States, most of which we were unaware of. They started getting tickets to fly out. You could just see the network light up.”

The pathological vanity of Keir Starmer

The pathological vanity of Keir Starmer

Too Jew For You Know Who?[/caption]So this is how technocracy ends – not with a bang but with the whimpering of one of its chief proponents as he hunkers down, hiding from the judgement of the people. This is the vision we now have of Keir Starmer: alone, reviled, skulking in his bunker at Downing Street. He’s a dead man blathering, talking about staying the course even though the people and much of his party would rather he didn’t. He’s ‘resolute’, say his dwindling band of apologists, but to the rest of us it just looks like pathological vanity.
