Canada’s spy agency didn’t report potentially unlawful activity to feds: watchdog

Canada’s domestic intelligence agency has failed to report their employees’ potentially unlawful activity and Charter violations, a newly-released watchdog report warns.

Of the 22 instances in which the Canadian Security Intelligence Service (CSIS) admitted “non-compliance” with the Charter of Rights and Freedoms in 2023-24, none were formally reported to the federal public safety minister.

I doubt it’s safe to share anything with the Liberal party given they’ve been compromised six ways from Sunday.

China, Islamists, Brookfield etc. Canada is a sieve.

Indian diplomat accuses RCMP of investigating ‘fantasy’ allegations of interference

India’s top diplomat in Canada says CSIS has been politically compromised and that the RCMP are investigating “fantasy” allegations that Indian officials are involved in crimes against Canadians.

In a sweeping interview with The Globe and Mail, High Commissioner Dinesh Patnaik went on the offensive, attacking the integrity of Canada’s national-security agencies, while pushing back against assertions from Canadian authorities that the Government of India has directed multiple homicide plots and foreign-interference campaigns on Canadian soil.

Mr. Patnaik asserted that the Canadian Security Intelligence Service has been compromised by Sikh separatists using Canada as a base for their campaign to carve out a breakaway state in northwest India, which they call Khalistan.

RCMP found no evidence of foreign interference in Alberta separatist movement, minister says

The RCMP has informed the Alberta government that there is no evidence the province’s separatist movement has been subject to foreign interference, according to the minister who oversees policing.
