Justice Department and Homeland Security officers have arrested “Antifa Kyle,” the cross-dressing anti-ICE domestic terrorist who threatened to assault, kill and doxx officers in Minneapolis.
Kyle Wagner, 37, was arrested Thursday on federal threat and cyberstalking charges following the alleged murder and assault threats against ICE. Wagner is expected to make an initial appearance in federal court today.
A man who plotted to kill Donald J. Trump at one of his Florida golf courses during the 2024 election campaign was sentenced to life in prison on Wednesday, the maximum penalty for attempting to assassinate a presidential candidate.
Ryan W. Routh, 59, an itinerant building contractor from North Carolina, sat quietly as Judge Aileen M. Cannon of the Federal District Court in Fort Pierce, Fla., announced his sentence.
A 12-member jury convicted Mr. Routh last September after an unusual, lopsided trial in which Mr. Routh represented himself. The jury also found him guilty of assaulting a federal officer for pointing his semiautomatic rifle at a Secret Service agent, and of several firearm violations. Mr. Routh tried to stab himself in the neck with a pen after the verdict was read in court.
In less than a month, two “ICE watchers” have been shot and killed by immigration enforcement agents in Minneapolis. On January 24, a federal agent shot and killed 37-year-old Alex Pretti, a Veterans Affairs ICU nurse. His death follows that of Renée Good, a 37-year-old mother of three, who was killed on January 7.
Both Pretti and Good participated in “ICE watching,” an anti-immigration-enforcement tactic that can involve tracking ICE agents, filming arrests, and alerting other activists of enforcement actions. While participants frame ICE watching as a “community safety” measure, these tactics often place untrained civilians in direct, high-stakes confrontation with armed federal agents.

Teachers unions are helping organize protests against Immigration and Customs Enforcement that sometimes end in violent clashes with federal law enforcement. At some clashes, activists are bringing children into potentially dangerous situations.
Late last month, Oregon’s largest teachers unions began activating their member base to rise up against ICE outside the federal detention facility in Portland, where children brought to the protest zone over the past weekend were tear-gassed alongside agitators.

Luigi Mangione, the man accused of gunning down UnitedHealthcare chief executive Brian Thompson, will not face the death penalty if convicted, a court has ruled.
US District Judge Margaret Garnett dismissed the federal firearms charges against the 27-year-old that carried the possibility of the death penalty.
He will still face stalking charges, which can bring a maximum punishment of life in prison.
THE awful deaths of Renée Nicole Good and Alex Jeffrey Pretti in Minneapolis have provoked national outrage, protests, celebrity attention, and global media coverage. In much of the US and UK press, both were quickly portrayed as heroes, allegedly ‘murdered’ or ‘executed’ by ICE (Immigration and Customs Enforcement) agents.
Yet video footage, witness statements and official reports suggest a far more complicated picture.
When we talk about political violence, we almost always assume that its perpetrators are young men. That makes sense: men are statistically more likely to engage in physical aggression and get arrested for violent crimes at higher rates. At the same time, many are dealing with rising unemployment, declining educational achievement, and growing social disengagement. Given all that, researchers may reasonably assume that young men are driving greater tolerance for political violence.
New data complicate that assumption. A recent survey by the Network Contagion Research Institute at Rutgers found that under certain conditions, women were more likely than men to express support for political violence. The findings were so counter to the prevailing narrative that they surprised even the researchers.

A West Virginia librarian has been arrested for allegedly trying to recruit people on social media to assassinate President Trump.
Morgan L. Morrow, 39, of Ripley, was busted over a TikTok video saying, “Surely a sn!per with a terminal illness can’t be a big ask out of 343 million,” according to a criminal complaint obtained by WOWK.
