Sweden, once regarded as one of Europe’s most peaceful nations, is now grappling with levels of gang violence unprecedented on the continent.
According to Euronews, Stockholm is one of the most dangerous cities in Europe: it has recorded 55 shootings up until August this year, resulting in nine deaths, while nationwide, there have been 113 incidents, leaving 33 people dead.
Federal law enforcement agents used teargas and pepper balls to disperse a group of about 100 protesters, including two Democratic candidates for Congress, during a series of early morning clashes outside an Immigration and Customs Enforcement (Ice) building in Chicago on Friday.
Demonstrators had attempted to block a number of government SUVs from entering and exiting the facility, which has become an operating hub and detention location during an immigration crackdown in the Democratic city dubbed “Operation Midway Blitz”.

More than seven million migrants remain outside the European Union’s labour market, despite the liberal political class’ insistence that the millions of migrant arrivals in recent decades would benefit Europe.

Canada is seeing a sharp increase in asylum-seekers entering through a border crossing between New York and the province of Quebec, as President Donald Trump’s policies drive away migrants and even some U.S. citizens.
Canadian officials have received more than 5,500 asylum claims since the beginning of July at the Saint-Bernard-de-Lacolle border crossing, south of Montreal. That’s a 263% increase from the same period last year, according to data from the Canada Border Services Agency.
