Meet La Barbie: the Tren de Aragua thug accused of turning a hotel into a sex trafficking empire

After allegedly being imprisoned, beaten and raped, the woman needed help to make it across the lobby of the hotel so she could finally escape.

Emerging into downtown El Paso, court documents state, she made her way to an immigration centre, where she readily admitted to a US Border Patrol agent that she had crossed illegally into the country from Mexico just months earlier.

Some time after arriving in the city in southern Texas, she told investigators, she had been drugged, assaulted, and forced into prostitution by a woman called Estefania Primera.

Yes, Mexico Knows Exactly What It Is Doing

Mexico understands that an open border, the destruction of U.S. immigration law, illegal immigration, and emigration of millions of its own citizens to America are entirely in its own interests.

President-elect Donald Trump recently had a “talk” with newly elected Mexican President Claudia Sheinbaum about the millions who have crossed through Mexico to enter the U.S. illegally.

Afterwards, Trump reported that their conversation went well, and supposedly both had agreed to secure the U.S. border.

Terror Suspect Caught at the Northern Border Indicative of a Bigger Problem

We often focus so much on the border between the United States and Mexico that it overshadows the one we share with our Canadian neighbors. The recent arrest of a suspected terrorist is a sobering reminder that it can be just as big of a national security threat. According to Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE), 41-year-old Mohammed Hasan Abdellatif Albana was captured in Lynden, Washington. He was identified as a “known or suspected terrorist,” according to Fox News. While it’s not clear when he was apprehended, ICE deported him back to Jordan on November 15.

What to Expect From Trump Administration’s Mass Deportation Plans

EAGLE PASS, Texas—Incoming border czar Tom Homan has made it clear that states such as Texas are about to have an ally in the White House when it comes to securing the U.S. southern border.

Homan and Texas Gov. Greg Abbott promised a new era of cooperation between the federal government and states eager to secure the border as President-elect Donald Trump’s deportation plan takes shape. The two served early Thanksgiving meals to Texas Department of Public Safety law enforcement and Texas National Guard members last week.

Mexican Authorities Dissolve Migrant Caravan Headed to U.S.

Mexican immigration authorities dissolved one of the large migrant caravans moving through southern Mexico as they provided the group with bus transportation to other parts of Mexico and promised to help them with their paperwork. The move comes soon after Mexico’s President Claudia Sheinbaum had phone calls with U.S. President-elect Donald Trump over the threats of tariffs if Mexico does not halt the flow of drugs, migrants, and asylum seekers headed north.

The border wake-up call is ringing — bring on the drones, helicopters and patrols

If you’re out walking after a bad storm, you’re liable to come across a few trees with limbs that are just hanging on.

One scintilla of added pressure, one strong gust, and the branch breaks.

This is the fragile reality of Canada’s immigration system today. The storm was entirely of the federal Liberals’ making. The next one will be entirely out of their control.

RCMP looks to redeploy 25% of eastern region workforce, including to border

The RCMP says it’s looking to redeploy up to one-quarter of its eastern region workforce to areas considered an operational priority, including to the Canada-U.S. border.

U.S. president-elect Donald Trump pledged this week to impose 25-per-cent tariffs on Canadian and Mexican imports until more is done to stem illegal border crossings and drug trafficking.

The threat spurred calls from premiers and opposition leaders for the federal Liberal government to do more to secure Canada’s border.

Canada can’t support influx of migrants fleeing Trump, must prevent border crossings, says former top aide

Canada needs to significantly strengthen its border, says a former chief of staff to Foreign Affairs Minister Mélanie Joly, because it can’t absorb large numbers of migrants who could flee here to evade U.S. president-elect Donald Trump’s pledge of mass deportations.

Peter Wilkinson, who recently spent 21 months as Ms. Joly’s top lieutenant and previously served as chief of staff to former Ontario premier Dalton McGuinty, said Canadians should be deeply concerned about Mr. Trump’s plan to deport up to 11 million undocumented migrants after he takes office in January.

Germany to promote ‘dominant’ culture and make migrants assimilate, says MP from incoming government

Muslims in Germany: Caliphate is the solution

Germany will promote the inherent value of its “dominant culture” and make migrants assimilate, an MP from the country’s government-in-waiting has said.

In a clear shift from the Angela Merkel era, the centre-right Christian Democrats Union (CDU) has made the concept of “Leitkultur” a key pillar of its manifesto ahead of snap elections in February.

In an interview with the Daily Telegraph, Alexander Throm, the CDU interior affairs spokesman, said Leitkultur was fundamentally the principle that foreigners should adopt German cultural values and not vice versa.

The Local Sheriffs Gearing Up to Help Trump Carry Out Mass Deportations

FREDERICK, Md.—If President-elect Donald Trump ramps up deportations as promised, he will have a strong ally in Chuck Jenkins, the longtime Republican sheriff of Maryland’s Frederick County.

“I’m willing to support the president 100%,” said Jenkins, 68, gravel-voiced with a gray buzzcut. “I want to do more, within the law.”

That prospect is spreading fear in immigrant circles, advocates say, and drawing mixed views from residents in this growing county, which backed Democrats in the last two presidential elections. But Jenkins, once dubbed among the nation’s 10 toughest immigration sheriffs by Fox News, sees Trump’s imminent return to the White House as a mandate for a more assertive approach.

Ireland’s migration election History shapes the nation’s populism

In many ways, Dundrum looks like the average Irish village. There’s a family butcher, a pub called Bertie’s, and rows of squatting slate-grey terraces. Yet walk down the R505, where Dundrum melts into the hedgerows of County Tipperary, and you’ll soon spot something else. There, outside Dundrum House, is an anti-migrant camp. Established back in August, locals are fighting the planned settlement of 277 refugees, with the former hotel set to be converted into an International Protection Accommodation Services (IPAS) centre.

As Trump’s Mass Deportations Loom, Vast Scope of Migrant Crime Wave Comes Into Focus

The federal government’s failure to properly vet and keep track of lawless migrants leads to false claims that the illegal border-crossers are less likely to commit crimes.

In June, Victor Martinez-Hernandez was charged with the murder of a mother of five in Maryland, Rachel Morin. Police in Oklahoma tracked the accused repeat offender down with a sample of his DNA recovered from a Los Angeles home invasion in which a 9-year-old girl and her mother were assaulted. Police say he came to America illegally to escape prosecution for at least one other murder in his native El Salvador in December 2022.
