Canadian Doctors Warn Against Private Medicine as a Cure for the System’s Ills

The Canadian Medical Association has called for a ban on payments for procedures long covered by public systems and is warning about contracting services out.

With perhaps 6.5 million Canadians finding themselves without a personal doctor and with seemingly endless waiting times becoming almost a norm for some medical procedures, private medicine is increasingly being pitched as a solution for those and other problems in Canada’s public health system.

Kamala Harris’s Life in Canada Was Marked by a Yearning for Home

While campaigning this past week, Senator JD Vance of Ohio called Vice President Kamala Harris a “phony” who “grew up in Canada,” as former President Donald J. Trump, the Republican presidential nominee, continued raising false and incendiary questions about the presumed Democratic nominee’s racial identity.

“Kamala Harris grew up in Canada,” Mr. Vance said during a campaign stop in Arizona on Wednesday. “They don’t talk like that in Vancouver or Quebec or wherever she came from.”

Kamala is a proven liar. She was a self declared Indian until being Black was better even suddenly acquiring a “Black accent” at her recent Atlanta embarrassment.

I think the author is hoping for a BJ.

PINDER: Who gets to come to Canada?

Al Quds Day – Queen’s Park Toronto

The issue of immigration has become one of the leading political and economic issues in the developed world. With many countries, including Canada and the US, in large part built by immigrants, the current waves of immigration in North America, Europe, Australia, and elsewhere are both a necessity and a problem.

During the first few centuries of the Industrial Revolution, the foundation of Canada and the US was established by the determination of hardy souls from many parts of the world plagued by poverty, lack of freedom, discrimination, and limited prospects. Our current demographic problem — the combination of aging boomers and declining birth rates — still makes immigration critical to the economic wellbeing of most developed countries.

Leger Poll: Conservatives maintain wide lead over justifiably despised Liberal party

Pierre Poilievre’s Conservative Party remains in the lead, 18 points ahead of Justin Trudeau’s Liberal Party. If a federal election were to be held today, 41% of Canadians would vote for the Conservative Party of Canada, while 23% would vote for Justin Trudeau’s Liberal Party. The Liberals experienced a 4-point decrease in July, placing the party only slightly ahead of the NDP who are at 20% of decided voter support. It would appear the negative media commentary stemming from the St. Paul by-election loss had an impact on Liberal fortunes.

Trudeau’s Canada: Hamas or ISIS supporter? Welcome to Canuckistan! Family Of A Yazidi Massacre Survivor? Don’t Call Us We’ll Call You!

10 years after ISIL massacre, Yazidis urge Canada to let them bring their family members

August is a month of tragedy and pain for the Yazidis, an ancient religious minority from northern Iraq.

In the early hours of Aug. 3, 2014, the Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant (ISIL) stormed through Sinjar, determined to erase the tiny, insular religious group. After announcing their caliphate in Iraq and Syria, ISIL killed men and boys, sold women into sex slavery or forced them to convert and marry militants. Those who could, fled.

Islam is evil. The Liberal-Left hope to harness that evil for use as latter day Storm Troopers against us.

Antisemitic incidents have Jewish community on edge: ‘Jews in Canada have felt under attack’

Antisemitic incidents across Canada have Canadian Jews and advocates on edge.

“The voices of the vast majority of Canadians — including faith, business and political leaders — need to be heard before it’s too late. All Canadians must come together against this growing surge of antisemitism,” wrote Deborah Lyons, the Special Envoy on Holocaust Remembrance and Combating Antisemitism, on X.

Lyons, who is also a former ambassador to Israel, was responding to a recent wave of vandalism and threats to Jewish schools, businesses, and synagogues.

Canadian Households Spend $900/Week On Taxes—More Than Shelter & Food

“… Canadian households pay a lot in taxes – a lot more than they probably think. In 2023 the average household reported an income of $109,000 And paid $47,000 in income taxes. That works out to about $903 per week or 43% of their household income. That’s a lot more than the average of 35.6% paid towards basic necessities—food, shelter, and clothing.

In contrast, a household in 1961 had a household income of $5000 and paid $1675 in taxes annually. That’s 33.5% towards income taxes while they spent another 56.5% of that income on those same necessities.”

Trudeau’s Canada: What happens to the dead if no one comes forward to claim them? In Ontario it’s a growing — and costly — problem

The funeral home workers carried the modest poplar casket to a freshly dug grave. There, two cemetery staff paused for a few moments before lowering the box to its final resting place.

“This is someone whose life has ended and we take a moment to just think about that,” said Scott Miller, one of the cemetery workers.

What else can you expect when the Trudeau government actively works to impoverish its citizens.

Tory public safety critic demands answers on RCMP’s Free Range Muslim Terrorists

Tory public safety critic demands answers on alleged terror twosome

Dear Minister LeBlanc,

I, like millions of other Canadians, was shocked to learn yesterday (Wednesday) of a planned terrorist attack in Toronto. The planned attack, which I am thankful was foiled by police and security services, involved an individual who previously travelled to Syria to join ISIS and participate in its genocidal campaign of terror.

As we know from the RCMP, this individual was charged with committing aggravated assault on behalf of the terrorist group while abroad in 2015.
