France: Jihadist Faces Life Over Yazidi Sex Slave Atrocities

A French jihadist is being tried in absentia in Paris over Islamic State (IS) crimes committed against the Yazidi minority in the Middle East, with prosecutors calling for a life sentence.

Sabri Essid, born in 1984, joined IS in Syria in 2014 and is presumed to have died in 2018. In the absence of confirmed proof of death, French courts have proceeded with the case. He faces charges of genocide, crimes against humanity, and complicity in crimes committed between 2014 and 2016.

The Elias family’s glimmer of hope of being reunited with loved ones in Turkey is fading after the latest setback in the long process to acquire visas for them.

Trudeau’s Canada: Yazidi victims and the bloodthirsty Muslim savages next door

Yazidi victims of ISIS and the long wait for justice

… For many Yazidis, justice means prosecuting ISIS members for what they did in Syria and Iraq, but such cases remain rare in Canada.

Only three of the nine ISIS women who have returned to Canada from Syria face any criminal charges. None of the four women now living disconcertingly close to Bashar in Alberta have been charged.

And while the government has been bringing home Canadians who were in ISIS, it has not yet allowed Bashar’s youngest daughter Wafaa, who survived years as a slave to ISIS men, to join them in Calgary.

Sex slave kidnapped by Muslims of ISIS at aged 11 ‘was starved for four days then fed cooked BABIES’

A Yazidi woman who was kidnapped by Islamist terrorists aged 11 has given a harrowing account of her years in captivity and the brutality she faced as a sex slave at the hands of ISIS before being trafficked to Gaza.

Fawzia Amin Saydo, now aged 21, was snatched from her home in Sinjar, Iraq, along with dozens of other children and women, whose babies she said were slaughtered by the terrorists.

The group were starved for four days before being handed plates of meat and rice, Fawzia said. Desperate for food, they consumed what was on the table, but soon began to have stomach ache and feel sick.

Barbara Kay: Kidnapped as a sex slave at 11, Yazidi woman finds freedom

Muslims tattooed their Yazidi girl slaves. Islam is a murderously sick cult that “blesses” slavery.

The word genocide has unfortunately lost much of its potency through misuse and unethical appropriation in the past decade. But in the case of the fragile Yazidi people, there can be no disputing the accuracy of the descriptor for the horrors inflicted on them in 2014 by the jihadist movement Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant (ISIL).

Sweden charges a woman with war crimes for allegedly torturing Yazidi women and children in Syria

COPENHAGEN, Denmark (AP) — Swedish authorities on Thursday charged a 52-year-old woman associated with the Islamic State group with genocide, crimes against humanity and serious war crimes against Yazidi women and children in Syria — in the first such case of a person to be tried in the Scandinavian country.

Lina Laina Ishaq, who’s a Swedish citizen, allegedly committed the crimes from August 2014 to December 2016, in Raqqa, the former de facto capital of the self-proclaimed IS caliphate and home to about 300,000 people.

The crimes “took place under IS rule in Raqqa, and this is the first time that IS attacks against the Yazidi minority have been tried in Sweden,” senior prosecutor Reena Devgun said in a statement.

Iraq’s Yazidis gather to remember the dead and missing, 10 years on from Islamic State genocide

Ten years ago on Saturday, Islamic State (IS) entered Iraq’s Sinjar province, displacing, killing and enslaving hundreds of thousands of Yazidis. On Saturday morning, crowds gathered for a ceremony to remember victims of the genocide at the “grave of the mothers”, where 111 elderly women were shot dead or buried alive after being separated from their family members.

The ceremony at the mass grave near the Yazidi genocide memorial in Solagh began at 10am, when a minute’s silence was observed across the country. Traditional Yazidi songs were sung, and poems and witness testimonies were recited on the stage.

Trudeau’s Canada: Hamas or ISIS supporter? Welcome to Canuckistan! Family Of A Yazidi Massacre Survivor? Don’t Call Us We’ll Call You!

10 years after ISIL massacre, Yazidis urge Canada to let them bring their family members

August is a month of tragedy and pain for the Yazidis, an ancient religious minority from northern Iraq.

In the early hours of Aug. 3, 2014, the Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant (ISIL) stormed through Sinjar, determined to erase the tiny, insular religious group. After announcing their caliphate in Iraq and Syria, ISIL killed men and boys, sold women into sex slavery or forced them to convert and marry militants. Those who could, fled.

US-backed Kurdish fighters in Syria have liberated a Yazidi woman who had been held for a decade by Islamic State (IS), where she was raped and forced to marry extremists.

The 24-year-old woman was rescued with her son and daughter during a security operation by Kurdish fighters in Syria’s al-Hawl camp, which houses tens of thousands of people, mostly the wives and children of Islamic State fighters, the Syrian Democratic Forces said on Monday.

UK Recognizes Islamic State Atrocities Against Yazidis as ‘Genocide’

The British government on Tuesday recognized as genocide those crimes committed against the Yazidi minority by Islamic State (IS) militants in Iraq in 2014.

The decision comes days before the ninth anniversary of the crimes that were perpetrated by the terror group also known as ISIS or Daesh.

“The Yazidi population suffered immensely at the hands of Daesh nine years ago, and the repercussions are still felt to this day,” Britain’s minister of state for the Middle East, Tariq Ahmad, said in a statement. “Justice and accountability are key for those whose lives have been devastated.”

Fighting to free the women and children enslaved by ISIS

In 2014, thousands of Yazidi women and children were enslaved by the Islamic State (IS) group in Iraq and Syria. Their fellow Yazidis launched a rescue effort almost immediately, but nearly a decade later, their task is still unfinished.

In November 2015, Bahar and her three young children had just been sold for the fifth time.

She had been one of many Yazidi women taken prisoner by IS, who had swept into her village in the Sinjar district of northern Iraq 18 months earlier. A religious minority living in Iraq for nearly 6,000 years, the Yazidis were considered infidels by the IS fighters.

Dutch Court Prosecuting Mohammedan In First-Ever Case For Enslaving Yazidis In Syria

On February 14 and 15, 2023, a Rotterdam court, the District Court of The Hague, held the first pro forma hearings against twelve women that the Dutch government brought back from a prison camp in Syria in November 2022. The women were arrested after arrival on suspicion of terrorist crimes, as suspected members of Daesh, a terrorist organization that is accused of committing genocide and crimes against humanity in Iraq and Syria. As announced by the Dutch Public Prosecution Service, one of the women is also suspected of slavery as a crime against humanity. The woman is said to have used a Yazidi woman as a slave in Syria in 2015. It is the first time that someone in the Netherlands has been charged with a crime against the Yazidis and for crimes against humanity.

Every country seems willing and able to prosecute their ISIS sluts. Except Canada. Justin wants that Muslim vote.

Yazidis plead with Canada not to repatriate Murderous Scum ISIS members

The looming return of alleged ISIS members to Canada has brought trauma, worry and fear to people who were invited to Canada as a safe haven after the terrorist group all but destroyed their ancient community in northern Iraq.

“When I first heard the news, I felt the strength leave my body,” Huda Ilyas Alhamad told CBC News in her Winnipeg apartment. She is one of 1,200 survivors of the Yazidi genocide who were resettled in Canada; she spent years as a slave of ISIS members.

“I had to sit down right away. I was heartbroken and terrified at the same time because on one hand they had promised to protect us and bring us here and give us safety, and on the other hand they’re offering that same entryway for these very people who raped and tortured us on a daily basis.”

Yazidis: Germany to vote on declaring IS crimes as genocide

Parliamentarians in Germany are planning to declare that the atrocities committed by the “Islamic State” (IS) against Yazidis amounted to genocide, with a vote in the Bundestag expected next week.

The agreement was reported by public broadcaster “Tagesschau” and the Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung (FAZ) newspaper on Friday.

Both Chancellor Olaf Scholz’s three-party governing coalition and the largest opposition party have agreed to back the vote, which could lead to a judicial reappraisal and financial help for displaced Yazidis to return home.
