How Muslim voters are exerting their growing political influence

There are lots of possible explanations for why Canada tilted away from Israel on the Gaza conflict this week by backing a UN resolution calling for a “sustained ceasefire.”

There’s even a theory that Washington gave Canada, Australia and New Zealand a quiet nod to shift their positions as a way of pressuring the Israeli government to restrain the bombing campaign that has killed so many Palestinian civilians.

But the Trudeau government surely didn’t need much encouragement to move in that direction, and it didn’t necessarily have to do with geopolitical calculations. You only have to look at changing demographics in this country and their far-reaching political implications.

Hundreds of protesters swarm Trudeau event in Vancouver to call for end to military support for Israel

Hundreds of pro-Palestinian demonstrators gathered outside the downtown Vancouver hotel where Prime Minister Justin Trudeau was speaking Thursday night to pressure him to cut off Canadian military support for Israel.

Dozens of demonstrators lay under white sheets outside the Westin Bayshore hotel in Coal Harbour, where Trudeau was speaking at a private Liberal Party fundraiser.

Does anyone know what if any data exists on the number of Zionist vs. Anti-Zionist Jews in the Canadian or North American diaspora?

It may be difficult to suss that info out of a poll as I am certain a lot of “I support Israel’s right to exist but” positions exist. For example I support Israel but only if a two state solution or the right of return is implemented or if it’s relocated to Madagascar etc etc etc.

It’s not a stretch to expect the LPC, NDP, and Greens officially ceasing all of their inch deep support for Israel and doing away with their current two faced BS.  The Mohammedans must be appeased.

Teen placed on terrorism peace bond, ordered to stay away from LGBTQ events, synagogues

RCMP and Calgary police have arrested a fourth person in connection with an ongoing terrorism investigation connected to social media posts.

News of the fresh arrest comes on the same day that a 17-year-old, arrested earlier this year in the same investigation, was placed on a terrorism peace bond and ordered to stay away from social media, LGBTQ events and synagogues.

Since June, a 20-year-old and three teens — ages 15, 16 and 17 — have been arrested as part of a national security investigation.

Canada: Woman with long Covid applies to be euthanized

A Canadian woman has applied to be euthanized after long Covid left her jobless and in constant pain – amid fears assisted dying has become too easy in Canada.

Tracey Thompson, 55, from Toronto, has not been able to work since catching the virus in 2020 and is so sore and fatigued she stays in bed for up to 22 hours a day.

The former chef has been robbed of the simple pleasures in life: she’s too weak to cook, too nauseous to eat and can’t listen to music, read or watch movies because her brain fog is so severe she ‘can’t process the info.’

Michael Higgins: Canada dangerously naive for backing pro-Hamas UN motion

The United Nations has long been sliding into irrelevancy, but it’s a great pity that Canada has decided its foreign policy can go along for the ride.

On Tuesday, Canada supported a UN general assembly vote that called for an “immediate humanitarian ceasefire” in the Israeli-Hamas war.

Douglas Todd: Canadian taboo against debating migration policy is basically over

Seven years ago, Simon Fraser University political scientist Sanjay Jeram perceptively said that Canada was one of the last countries in the world where it is not permitted to discuss migration policy.

“The hidden consensus in Canada is that we don’t talk critically about immigration. The taboo against discussing it is very real,” said Jeram, who has a PhD from the University of Toronto, the city in which he was born and raised.

Justin Trudeau and Pierre Poilievre really don’t like each other — and it shows

The Justin Trudeau versus Pierre Poilievre show has wound down for the year, giving Canadians a bit of a break from a battle between the two leaders that has become increasingly raw and personal.

If 2024 is anything like 2023, that antagonism will become likely become even more pronounced when the Commons returns from the six-week break it takes from mid-December until the end of January.

GOLDSTEIN: Jews don’t count at UN and this time Canada agreed

Only at the United Nations — and only about Israel — would the UN General Assembly call for a “ceasefire” in a war while disgracefully avoiding any mention of who and what started it.

Twice now — on Tuesday in passing a resolution calling for a “humanitarian ceasefire” in the Israel/Hamas war in Gaza — and back on Oct. 26 when it called for a “humanitarian truce” — the General Assembly deliberately avoided assigning any responsibility for the conflict to Hamas.

Turkish consulate in Canada was transformed into an intelligence hub, secret document reveals

A recently obtained classified document has confirmed that Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan, former chief of the notorious Turkish intelligence agency MIT, wasted little time in orchestrating a swift transformation of the Turkish diplomatic service into an extensive apparatus for collecting information and conducting espionage activities in foreign countries.

The document, stamped secret and dated October 19, 2023, reveals that Turkish diplomats in Canada collected information on a critic of President Recep Tayyip Erdogan’s government and subsequently transmitted the information gathered to headquarters in Ankara.

Turkey has a long history of messing about in Canada and elsewhere.

US Lawmakers Push Canada To Designate Iranian Guard Corps as Terrorist Group

Don’t believe a thing this lying punk says.

A bipartisan coalition in Congress is pressuring Canada to designate Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) as a terrorist organization, with the lawmakers warning that “neither engagement nor concessions will change” Tehran’s appetite for destruction.

“By officially designating the IRGC as a foreign terrorist organization, Canada can join the United States in once again contributing to the global fight against terrorism, demonstrating a strong commitment to ensuring peace and stability,” the group of 14 House lawmakers wrote in a letter sent Wednesday to Canadian prime minister Justin Trudeau and obtained by the Washington Free Beacon. “It is vital that Canada recognizes the threat posed by the Islamic Republic of Iran and takes all appropriate steps to address it.”

Trudeau is as stupid as he is dangerous.

Sikh terrorists, Palestinian Terrorists, Iranian Terrorists, Bangladesh Terrorists – Canada is the 1st Post Modern Terrorist State.

Trudeau’s Liberals gain support at expense of Poilievre’s Conservatives, poll suggests

OTTAWA — Conservative Leader Pierre Poilievre tried to boost his MPs’ morale with bags of fast food during a marathon voting session he forced over the weekend, but during that same session, public opinion was souring on him, a new poll suggests.

The latest Abacus Data survey — provided exclusively to the Star — reveals a five percentage point drop in support for Poilievre’s Conservatives, an increase in those who have a negative opinion of Poilievre and a move away from him among those who think it’s time for a change in government.

John Ivison: Canada’s UN ceasefire vote reveals what we’ve become — undependable, unprincipled and foolish

Bob Rae was caught on a hot microphone, just after he joined in calls for a ceasefire in Gaza late Tuesday.

“We’ll see how that flies,” Canada’s ambassador at the United Nations said, off camera, after telling the UN general assembly that Canada supports the “humanitarian ceasefire” proposed in a resolution that was supported by 153 countries and opposed by just 10.

The Conservatives opt for silence on social-policy

If you tried to imagine the narrative arc of Canadian social policy, you might guess that the dental-care program announced this week marks the peak of the current cycle.

Prime Minister Justin Trudeau’s Liberal government has spent big on social policy, including a subsidized national child-care program. Now, the party’s parliamentary deal with the NDP is birthing a remarkably broad dental-insurance program that is expected to cover nine million people.

After escaping war, thousands of Ukrainians want to stay in Canada permanently … But will that serve as precedent to open the floodgates for the mass import of Hamas supporters?

Tens of thousands of Ukrainians who fled the war in their homeland for safety in Canada under a temporary visa program are pressing Ottawa to allow them to settle here permanently.

When Russia invaded Ukraine in February, 2022, the Canadian government swiftly enacted the Canada-Ukraine authorization for emergency travel (CUAET), allowing an unlimited number of Ukrainians fleeing the war to work, study and stay in Canada for up to three years.

I have zero problem with this however it will almost certainly be used as a precedent by the sleazebag Trudeau government to import Hamas supporters by the tens of thousands and that has to be stopped.  The usual suspects are already whining that Hamas supporters are victims of a racist Canada that does not treat them like the normal Ukraine refugees.
